In case you missed it on social media on Friday AND in yesterday’s post…
Kristi was adopted!
This happy ending has been a long time coming for Kristi, who turns 9 in a couple of weeks. All she wants is to be loved, and I do believe Miss Emma is the person for the job. Katia is still at Michelle’s house – they discovered that as long as she has other cats to hang out with, she’s happy.

You remember Maggie, from 2011, with the “over your shenanigans” face in this picture?
Well, nearly 9 years later she’s still got that expression, but she’s a little smaller.
Her little face is just killing me dead! (Thanks, Alex!)

AND from 2015, we had pregnant mama Lucille Ball (Lucy). I always think of this video when I think of Lucy.

Listen, if YOU were hugely pregnant and had just had a large snack, you’d probably be a little gassy, too.
Also this one, which I titled “She’s always a lady.”
Lucy’s now Gilly, and here she is today!
Seriously, I can’t even with that silly face of hers. (Thanks, Pam!)

“Hey! Stop lookin’ at my belly! RUDE!”
Have I mentioned that she LOVES this cat tree?
So, no kittens yet, obviously. No signs that she’s about to go into labor, though it’s hard not to see every little change in behavior as A Sign. She can’t keep them in there forever, is my only comforting thought. They’ve gotta come out eventually!

Archie puts on his Ears of Annoyance.
“Can you EVEN believe the nerve, lady?”
