So, with all Koko’s “calling”, did you see any un-neutered boys hanging around outside looking to “get some”?
We did not, though we did joke about using her as the “bait” to trap Fancypantsv2.0!

I think Kokomo is part rabbit. Observe this happy bunny:
That bunny’s got the zoomies!

Somebody (more talented than I) needs to create stuffed animal replicas of Jake and sell one to me. “Get your very own Loony Jake! Squeezable! Huggable! Goes where you go! Stuck at home sick and/or lonely? One look at his adorable face and you’ll turn that frown upside down! Just 15 easy payments of 99.99 with 9.99 shipping and handling! Limit one to a customer please.”
Wouldn’t that be perfect? Someone more talented than I needs to get going on that!

That picture of River and Inara so reminds me daily of this one
I can totally see the resemblance!

Perchance are you scouting around for a real mama-to-be? I need kittens.
I’m not looking for anyone at the moment, since Koko will be in the foster room for the next couple of weeks. Generally, I take whatever’s offered to me, so that could turn out to be a pregnant mama, or it could be a litter of kittens. With fostering, you never know what you’re gonna get!
As mentioned in the comments yesterday, Itty Bitty Kitty Committee has kittens, Connie has kittens, and you can see Kelsey’s little Pie kittens here. The Pie kittens were born the day I posted about Koko, so I kinda feel like they were supposed to be mine? Gimme! ::grabbyhands::

Oh my that video!! It made me snicker and think of dear Spanky… Wasn’t he the one who would get looks of horror on his face when previous amorous lady cats came calling? 😉
Yes! I don’t know why the ladies fixated on Spanky as the answer to their prayers, but he was always completely baffled and horrified by it. I posted about Kara lookin’ for some love in this post. Maggie did it, too, but I can’t find a post about it, so perhaps I didn’t write about it.

Here’s something funny – Koko belly pics. The one on the left is from January 25th, the one on the right from February 2nd.
I don’t know, I think she looks more pregnant in the left one!
Koko posing tip: Make yourself look slimmer in pictures by posing with your belly in the sun so that it gets washed out and doesn’t really show up. (This only works if your belly fur is white.)
I picked Koko up yesterday evening, and she was still groggy and a little cranky from her operation. We gave her some love and then shut the door for the night – and she didn’t make a peep. I’m sure she’ll be back to normal in a day or two, once she’s had a chance to heal.

I went into my room to take a picture of Archie, who was snoozing atop my bed (perhaps because I turn the electric blanket on for him every morning).
Then Alice, who was suffering from The Zoomies, came scampering through the room, which disturbed Archie and gave him the Ears of Annoyance.
“Just RUDE, to disturb a man’s rest like that.
