So, last week (or was it the week before?) I mentioned the Surf & Turf FUNdraiser Andrea is currently running, to raise money for Winnie’s Wish. I knew I was going to have to have a couple of sets of those amazing toys because (1) I know Andrea does amazing work (she’s so talented), and (2) hello my name is Robyn and I am a cat toy addict.
Well, over the weekend they arrived!
“HERE I COME! HERE I COME!” Flyin’ Skelton.
And Carlin was all “OUTTA MY WAY THIS IS OBVIOUSLY FOR ME.”
“I will take this one, and this one, and that one too.”
“Look at all these toys that are MINE.”
That fishy kicker is perfectly Carlin-sized!
Skelton, on the other hand, thought the octopus was SO YUMMY.
I took a silvervine Fleecy Ball to Jake, because Jake is a HUGE fan of silvervine.
“Silvervine toy? What silvervine toy? I have no idea what you’re talking about!”
So basically, the toys were a big hit, and now they’re scattered from one end of the house to the other. Go get some – a wonderful pack of high-quality toys, and it’s for a good cause. Can’t beat that!

Last week, I was organizing my embarrassingly big stash of cat toys (see above about being a cat toy addict – half the reason I send bags of toys home with fosters is because otherwise you’d be seeing my smiling face on Hoarders). I found a silvervine pillow/kicker I got from Silly Lupie (from eBay) a couple of years ago. I unwrapped it and tossed it to Jake, figuring he’d sniff it and walk away. He didn’t walk away AT ALL. Instead, he did this.
I think it would be safe to say that silvervine makes Jake’s eyes go all loony.
