Mama Lucy gets a little annoyed when she goes into the crate and most of the babies are too busy playing to nurse. Ingrates!

Rickles encourages Skelton to leave the crate. “It’s okay, bro, that lady isn’t as skeery as she looks!” Please note Belushi to the left, staring at the wall of the crate, Roseanne on the right thinking about leaving the crate, and Shecky and Gilda tusslin’ in the back of the crate.
Lucy is all “This one always manages to track me down!”
Lucy would like y’all to know that she can get away from those babies if she wants to (that open door behind her leads to the closet where her litter box is).
Louis enjoys a back scratch.
Belushi can think of no good reason to wake up and start the day.

This time 3 weeks ago, these little monkeys were in the process of being born!

Today I learned that Shecky will not hesitate to hiss and spit at the broom I’m using on the other side of the room. If I’d known he was going to do that, I would have tried to get it on video, because it was the most adorable thing ever!
Um. I mean scary. It was scary. Terrifying! I was shaking!
Silly monkey Roseanne needs a kiss on that adorable little nose.

Shecky bellies up to the buffet! I put out the litter boxes, put each of the kittens in to check them out, and several of them started eating the litter (it’s perfectly normal, most kittens do it at first. Which is why we start them out on regular non-clumping litter.) I left the room for about an hour to do some laundry, and when I came back, someone had peed in one of the boxes! #KittenGenius #TheFools #kittens #KittensOfInstagram #fosterkittens #3WeeksOld

I love this picture not just because Rickles is such a fluffmuffin, but also because if you look closely, you can see Skelton in the crate, trying to remember how to get out!
Skelton eventually remembered the way out!
“Hallo, lady.” Rickles and Skelton.
Shecky’s all “Now, how do I get back into the crate again…?”
If he wasn’t completely covered in kittens, you’d be able to see that Louis is at the bottom of that pile, sound asleep, laying on his back. You can see his face and paw on one side of the pile, and his stripey legs on the other.
Belushi’s all “Come give me a hug!”
