Ember’s favorite place in the whole wide world.
“Draw me like one of your French girls, Jack.”
I think the ears are actually getting bigger.
Ever since Kerry mentioned in an email that in the pictures of Ember leaping up after Da Bird, she looks more insect-like than cat-like, I’ve been calling Ember “Bug”, because Kerry is right – that little girl is all legs and ears. (Fred calls Ember “Spanky” because she bears a resemblance, at least color-wise, to our dear departed boy.) She is the happiest little bug in the world; the instant you pick her up, she purrs like crazy. I weighed her yesterday, and she’s finally hit three pounds. (Puff is a pound larger than she is, and the others are at various points between three and a half and four pounds.)
Her second-favorite place in the world (that’s the cat tree in the front room – she prefers the one in my room, because the sun hits it in the morning.)
Here’s a video of Ember, hanging out in her hammock and looking adorable. If you listen closely, you’ll get to hear her squeaky little voice!

Jon Snow considers his plan of attack.
Arya is not quite the ninja warrior she thinks she is.
She talks a good game, but when it comes down to it…
She’s all “Wah! No! Don’t hurt me!”
But she can’t help herself. Her mouth keeps writing checks her body can’t cash.
“I ain’t skeered of you (as long as you aren’t looking at me…)!”
All four in one pic! (Please note Arya’s fancy bright-green “bracelet.”)

And in the Kat Kabin. I guess you could say that Jake is a cave dweller, though he likes the occasional high place.
