Three Pickles, three Weeds (well, four Pickles if you include Magoo back there in that bed by his lonely self.)
From another angle. The look on Purslane’s face is cracking me up. “WHAT YOU WANT, LADY?”
Magoo, close up. He has such a square little face.
Thistle, snugglin’ with Joe Pickle. The Pickles are like body pillows for that little girl.
Purslane and Thistle. (And Purslane’s tongue!)
Percy Pickle and his toes ‘n nose.
Do you know, it isn’t ’til I was looking at this picture that it clicked for me that I’ve got four boy kittens and four girls. It seems like we’ve got about 100 more boy kittens than girls some days. Here we have all the girl kittens in the house, in one bed. You can’t tell from this angle, but Thistle is actually completely laying on top of Polly. She’s so light that I don’t think Polly even notices.
Sweet Polly Pickle (and Percy’s toes.)
I weighed everyone the other day. Magoo is now over 3 pounds – he’s 3 pounds, 3 ounces – but still weighs 6 1/2 ounces less than the next-smallest Pickle, Petey. Joe Pickle is the biggest at 3 pounds, 13 ounces. Polly and Percy are both at 3 pounds, 10 ounces.
The Weeds are coming along, and have more of a difference between them. Thistle is the tiniest at 2 pounds, 1 1/2 ounces – she’s gaining very slowly, but she shows a gain every week – Purslane’s solidly in the middle at 2 pounds, 6 ounces. And Dandelion’s the biggest (as she has been from the beginning) at 2 pounds, 10 ounces.
Sometimes I pick up Joe Pickle and then pick up Thistle, and it seems like she weighs nothing at all.
Pardon me, Jake, your tunes appear to be looning.
