Sam is king of the (small) cat tower!
Every evening, I turn the hanging light on, and Sam is just obsessed with sitting and staring up at it. Maybe he thinks it’s the sun.
“Halp! Halp! CALL 911!!!” (Sam, with Bill laying behind him, biting the back of his neck.)
These kittens ADORE walking carefully (and sometimes not-so-carefully) along the footboard of my bed.
This is Joe Bob, sleeping in the cat bed atop the dryer. He’s a good boy, our Joe Bob. Originally, he was actually one of our foster cats. He and his sister (they were both adults) needed a break from the cage at the pet store where they’d been sitting for a while, so they came to our house for some rest and relaxation. They were named Moonman (him) and Moondance (her). After a little while, we nicknamed them Joe Bob and Myrtle, because they seemed more fitting names. We liked Joe Bob quite a lot, and he got along well with our cats. Eventually, they both went back to the pet store and were adopted separately. Joe Bob was returned, and went back to the shelter.
Last January (2008), we had to have our cat Spot put to sleep, and the next day Fred said “Joe Bob! We should adopt Joe Bob!”, and so we did.
Joe Bob is a sweet, lovable boy – you pick him up, and he purrs immediately and just goes limp in your arms. For some reason Spanky and Kara don’t like him at all, and he and Stinkerbelle don’t get along either, and I have no idea why that is. I guess not all cats are going to get along all the time, right?

2006: POOP IN THE LITTER BOX!
2005: So for the rest of their stay at Casa And3rson, Sad Eyes is going to become Sugarbutt, Little Cal is becoming Callie, and Barrett is becoming Bear, because he looks like a little bear. Smitty’s going to remain Smitty, ’cause that’s a pretty good name.
