Weekly Instagram/Facebook/Tumblr Roundup.
5.3 ounces of stripey cuteness.

Bath time for the kittens – and for Charles!
“Hallo, innernets, I see you!” We have an eyeball! This is the kitten with the white toes on all 4 feet (who we later named Laura). I didn’t expect any eyes for a few more days, but now that we’ve got one, I suspect the rest of them will start plinking open.
“LADY YOU BETTER UNHAND ME OR MY MAMA WILL GIVE YOU A VERY DISAPPOINTED LOOK!” (Almanzo)

It’s a rough life.
Caroline’s under there somewhere!
It’s Toesday, so please admire this tiny baby foot next to Caroline’s foot (and tail.)
“Whoa, whoa, whoa, lady. Where we goin’, and is there a milk bar there?” (Willie)
Kitty is skeptical of you, innernets. (Laura)
These little muffins are 1 week old! They’ve gained over a pound between the 5 of them (the heaviest kitten now weighs 7.9 ounces and lightest is 6.5 ounces), they’re happy, healthy, adorable chunky monkeys. ❤️
We have a second eyeball! 2 out of 10 eyes are now open. Hopefully the two with open eyes won’t tell the others there’s nothing out here worth seeing. (Mary)
Complaints: we haz a few. (Albert & Almanzo)
In case you missed it on the blog the other day: YES, Charles and Caroline will be adopted out together as a bonded pair. Which isn’t to say that they’ve been adopted – they haven’t – but when the time comes, we won’t split them up. They’ll be available for adoption once their kittens are weaned and after Caroline is spayed, so mid to late May. We’re located in Huntsville, Alabama and if you’re seriously interested in adopting these two lovebirds, email Forgotten Felines of Huntsville at info (at) ffhsv.org to get the ball rolling.
In case you missed it in this morning’s blog post, the kittens have been named. We have two girls and three boys: Laura, Mary, Almanzo, Albert and Willie!
Laura’s delicate little whiskers are just so sweet.

Good morning! Oh, Robyn! This family is so adorable! I’m so looking forward to eyeballs plinking open and ears popping up!!! I’m so glad Caroline and Charles are to be adopted together. Speaking of which, I don’t know much about the chemistry of cats – will having Charles’s pheromones in that close of proximity cause Caroline to go into heat sooner? Again, I don’t know nuthin’ bout birthin’ no nuthin’… and I surely don’t know nuthin’ bout mother nature.
Oh those sleepy baby shots! Look at those contented little faces… Have you popped one in your mouth (accidentally, of course) to savour their never-ending sweetness yet?
Love that picture of Charles on the edge of the bathtub, especially how his ears are tucked so perfectly under the window ledge. And the expression on his face!
I love revisiting the week past… thanks for putting this together, Robyn!!
I’m so very hoping that you adopt Charles and Caroline. They are so incredibly darling. I would adopt them if I could, but I live in Seattle. I’ve resisted thus far saying that because, you know, it’s really none of my business. But…I couldn’t stop my little fingers from typing out this plea tonight. They are SO bonded and precious that it’s causing me anxiety to just let them go off into the sunset with who knows what could happen.
