A few people have asked how the upper respiratory stuff is going. Paper Clip and Stapler are GREAT – off the meds, no sneezing or goopy eyes.
Posty is… weird. She’s not sneezing and doesn’t sound congested, but her eyes are weepy. They’re not goopy, they’re just leaking clear fluid. It doesn’t bother her, it doesn’t slow her down at all, and she doesn’t mind if I wipe the tears off her face. She’s been on antibiotics (which have made no difference) and just yesterday morning (at Michelle’s suggestion) I started her on allergy meds. So far they’re not working, but it can take a few days, so I’ll keep her on them for the time being. If that ultimately turns out not to help, then it’ll be off to the vet for her.

I love that dab of white in the middle of the orange on Sundrop’s back. (Also, that blob of orange looks like a stingray to me!)
“What doin’, lady?” wonders Moxie.
Sundrop’s wavin’ his feet in the air.
Fanta (left), Sundrop (right) and Poppi (back) are keeping an eye on Moxie, who likes to wander off.
But she always returns to the pile!
Fanta’s pale orange tail just kills me.
Sodapop’s all “The kids are sleeping, lady. Don’t wake ’em up!”

On his heated bed, with a space heater nearby, Rocco is leading a very rough life.

Posted on social media (Facebook/Twitter/Instagram/Tumblr/ Bluesky) yesterday.
And then there were 3… (Andi was adopted yesterday, if you missed it.) These three sisters are available for adoption and ready to GO. From left: Stapler, Paper Clip & Posty. They’re about 8 months old, spayed and up to date on vaccinations. We are located in Huntsville, Alabama; out of area adopters are allowed, but adopters must come here to complete the adoption. Email Forgotten Felines of Huntsville at info (at) ffhsv.org to inquire.
Former fosters Rupert (formerly Richie) and Pippin (Carmy.) Sharon reports that that laptop scratcher is THE most popular toy in the house right now. There was a bird out that window, and Pippin wanted it! And the two brothers sharing a bowl, awww. ALSO, Sharon reported yesterday that the boys were wrestling, and let Meander join in as much as she wanted to. How sweet is that? SO sweet! (Thanks Sharon!)

Dispatch from the kitten nursery: 3 minutes of the kittens being ADORABLE.
Poppi looks like she’s smiling here, and SERIOUSLY I cannot stand how CUTE she is.

Andi was adopted yesterday (locally), and has joined a family that includes a kitty sister (Josie) who looks JUST like her. Andi’s now Jolie, and we expect that she will have a very happy (and spoiled) life.
Here’s the video of pictures I took while she was with us, from the day I brought her home, to yesterday’s “adopted!” picture.
Paper Clip’s having a quiet moment.
Good night innernets. (Fanta, Moxie, Sundrop & Poppi)

Re: Posty’s tears. If the allergy meds don’t help, she may suffer from narrowed/blocked lacrimal ducts.
I am definitely feeling like it’s got to be a physical issue rather than a virus/infection/something that can be fixed by medication, though I’m giving the allergy meds the weekend to start working before I request a vet appointment.
So many adorable photos and videos – thanks!
Re: Posty’s tears, could it be a lyseine deficiency? Just supplementing with lyseine could do the trick. Herpes and calici have the symptom of drippy eyes.
No, she’s been on lysine for a couple of weeks.
You shouldn’t have “booped” Moxie with that inky finger.
Then she shouldn’t be so BOOPable!
Sharon kind of spoils her kitties. Lucky kitties!
My Nacho looks very similar to Sundrop. He also has a tiny little white patch in the middle of his largest orange blob, which covers his back. I call it his skunk spot.
