Juuust a reminder…
The Forgotten Felines of Huntsville online auction is going on through tomorrow (Saturday February 17th) at 7 pm Central Time. If you haven’t checked it out yet, give it a look-see here. (There were some issues earlier this week where the album was only showing a few items, but FB appears to have fixed it.)
All proceeds benefit Forgotten Felines of Huntsville, for whom I foster.

Those orange fluffy babies are just ridiculously cute! Are any two of them especially bonded? I’m wondering if any of them might get adopted together. I hope we’ll be able to follow them to see their glorious adult versions!
I don’t think any two of them are particularly bonded to each other – but it’s hard to tell since they’re all three in the foster room, and they don’t really have to seek out each other.
There’s been a ton of interest in them, and several people are interested in all three. The people at the top of the list (who came to meet them last weekend – and I think it went well!) haven’t made a decision yet. But there are enough people interested in all three that I’m pretty comfortable in predicting that all three will be adopted together. (Though obviously I can’t guarantee it – you never know ’til you know!)

Sometimes they nap with me… sometimes they prefer to wrestle with each other as close to my face as possible.
Louie got his belly brushed. Fortunately, this trio does not mind being brushed.
Dewey is such a little cuddlebug.

Babka (left) and Ciabatta are all “Where ARE we?!”
That’s right – last evening while Fred and I were watching TV, Crumpet decided it was time to move the kittens. And she did.
Pumpernickel is all “Bro, you got a FOOT!”
Check out that stretched-out foot on the right side, with the little black dot right above the pink toebeans. By process of elimination, I’m pretty sure that foot belongs to Babka.
“It was the ‘free utilies’ that really sold me on this place,” says Crumpet.
She looks so much more comfy with room to stretch out. I’m so glad she decided it was time!

Khal loves his track toy playground and he loves the fire on a cold day. He is one happy boy!

Posted on social media (Facebook/Twitter/Instagram/Tumblr) yesterday.
Happy Thlurrrpsday from Dewey and Huey, who – to be honest – could work on their thlurrrping skills a bit, but it’s a solid B+ effort.
Throw Back Thursday: 2019, when we fostered Caroline, who was pregnant, and the father of her kittens, Charles (we knew he was the father because he was the only other cat in the house where Caroline was)(they were turn-ins to our local animal control because their owner was moving). I got so many sweet pictures of the two of them together. Caroline had 5 brown and white tabby kittens the day before Valentine’s Day 2019. (Charles and Caroline were adopted together, Albert and Willie were adopted together, and Mary and Laura were adopted together. Almanzo was adopted into a home with another kitty already in residence.)

It’s a milk bar mosh pit, which is the best kind of mosh pit, if you ask me. (Crumpet purring the entire time, of course.)
I don’t know whether Huey was watching birds in the back yard or looking at his own reflection, but whatever it was certainly had his attention!

Napping with kittens. (Well, with Dewey and Louie. Huey noped out of there pretty early on.)
Pita’s tongue is sticking out, and how I did not snatch her up and kiss her 100 times, I do not know. (Except that she would have cried, Crumpet would have gotten mad, and I would have gotten my feelings hurt.)
Good night innernets.
(“She’ll move them when she wants them moved,” I said. At some point this evening she wanted them moved. And she moved them.)

Wow that is wonderful there are several adopters that want all three Ducklings! BUT they must willing to start an Insta for them so we can see them grow into their floof.
Horray for Crumpet and the new abode!
I’m sure her little crumbs will love the extra room to wriggle and roll around.
Congratulations Crumpet on your stealth yet again.
Caroline and Charles — I loved them! It was so great watching kittens grow up with a daddy, too. And yay for Crumpet realizing that there was a bigger abode handy. I was afraid she would move them to someplace inappropriate. When I was a kid, we had a mama cat who had kittens in the cabinet where we kept cereal, then moved them to behind the dryer!
I was just looking at the new post from knit_n_purr_kara on Instagram and Shelby still has her scattered white hairs! I’m wondering if she really is going to keep them. 🙂
You didn’t mention it, but I noticed there are several eyeballs which have appeared suddenly! Must be all that room they have now. 😉
