Time to let me know if you want a holiday card, with this year’s featured Crooked Acre permanent resident! Go here to Postable, enter your name and address, and your card will be on the way soon. I am happy to send cards to other countries, this is NOT limited to U.S. residents. If you have any problems, drop me an email and I’ll do my best to fix it. I’ll take names and addresses until December 20th.
If you’d like to send me a card as well (never ever required, but always appreciated – I don’t keep track of who does or doesn’t send a card, I promise!), send it to:
Robyn Anderson
1260 US HWY 72E, STE B #130

(PS: If that link doesn’t work for you, or you prefer not to enter your info (I delete your name and address once I’ve downloaded it), you can email me instead.)

I swapped out the couch blankets to the Life is Good holiday cats version (which I’ve had, I think, two years? Three?), which are looking kind of rough, but the kittens and M’Lynn approve QUITE a bit. I guess that blanket is especially comfy.
M’Lynn is like “I did not sign up to be a bed for these kittens.”
Ouiser and Clairee find a Mama bed quite comfy, thank you.
At the other end of the couch, Drum and Shelby like the whole “pile of blankets” situation going on.
M’Lynn goes for the stretch, Shelby goes for the attitude, and Ouiser tries to use Shelby as a pillow (which might explain Shelby’s attitude.)
3 out of 4 are looking at me, I’ll call that good enough.
Shelby’s keeping an eye on me.

Charlie really likes the self-heating bed under the wash stand. (Actually, all the cats do – I never know who I’m going to find hanging out in there.)

Posted on social media (Facebook/Twitter/Instagram/Tumblr) yesterday.
Shelby says “I am a star. I’m a star, I’m a star, I’m a star. I am a big, bright, shining star.”
Poor M’Lynn. She was having a moment to herself and along came Ouiser, who climbed right on in and started sniffing around the milk bar. Both of their faces are cracking me UP.

You might wonder “just how long CAN Robyn keep yammering about this silly impulse purchase she made, while feeding the kittens Churu?” The answer, my friends, is SO MUCH LONGER than you could ever imagine. Fortunately, there are cute kittens who are mostly in frame, getting their Churu on, so at least there’s that.
Also, is it EVEN a Love & Hisses video if you can’t hear my stomach growling? I think NOT.

Run, run, Shelby! First we runs THIS way, then we runs THAT way, then we takes a moment to reflect on our life, and then we RUNS SOME MORE.
Shelby and Ouiser are havin’ a nap.
Good night innernets. (Clairee & Drum)

Speaking of Charlie and the pile of blankets at the end of the bed, I’m curious about the stack of cat beds at the end of the sofa that he loved so much when he was Aramis. Did they get moved to the perm res side of the house or did the beds disappear into the fosterverse over time?
