They certainly are some snuggly girls.
Dandelion on the top of the cat tree.
Watching the squirrels out the window.
Apparently they needed to have ALL the toys in the cat bed with them. Silly girls.
Yes, her whiskers are REALLY long!
Dandelion went off to her new home just fine. I dropped her and her sisters off at Petsmart and then went to dinner. After, I went back to Petsmart to see how the girls were doing, and to get some Magoo and Joe Pickle love. The girls were all three hiding in the litter box (SIGH), and Magoo and Joe Pickle were the flirtiest little lovebugs. I snuggled them for a good long time and talked to Dandelion’s Mama for a while, and then left.
(Dandelion’s new probable name? Pearl. ADORABLE. Also, she’s finally getting that pink collar, as well as a pink bed of her own. I’m betting it won’t be long before she’s using her new brotherdog Duke as her own personal bed, though. She is going to be so spoiled rotten, and I’m so happy for her!)
Dingwall Scotty (have I mentioned that Fred calls him Dingwallace? Cracks me up!)
Bite the baby! They love to carry this stuffed kitty around, snuggle up to it, and then grab it and bunny kick it. Silly boys.
“Stop LOOKIN’ at me! I’m trying to plan my escape!”

2007: βWe should do Stinky,β Fred said.
2006: Iβm telling yβall, this is the MOST mellow cat Iβve ever seen in my life.
2005: No entry.
My Simba can be counted upon to beat up all stuffed animals that get out of line in these parts. Perhaps he’s acting out his feelings about being overrun with fosters at the moment.
Charlie, my toy hoarding dog, sleeps with every toy he has tucked around him in the dog bed. I collect them from around the house and put them in a basket. He takes them out of the basket and puts them in the bed. Guessing I can probably re-purpose that basket.
Dingwall, Dingwallace, Dingleball… has he been Dingleberry yet? π
You know you want to call him Dingleberry.
*gasp*
My thoughts exactly!
I was on my way to calling him Dingleberry this morning, but I was sidetracked by the radio and ended up calling him Dingle Bells. π
Nothing will ever top Dingle Bells. π
Seriously – Dingle Bells is stuck! Too CUTE!
I gots my postcard today!!! Woo Hoo!!! Love it!
Me too. Love the photo on the card & I won’t tell who is in the photo I will let that be a surprise.
Me too…me too!!! Loved it!!!
I like Dingle bells!
I already miss Dandelion… *sigh*
If anyone wants a good laugh this morning… http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GbycvPwr1Wg
I LOVE that video! π
When the cat friend flips off the guy….*snort*
Am beaming good thoughts the Weeds’ way and hoping their natural relaxation skills are emerging. Go, Thistle and Purslane, and I hope Dandelion had an excellent first nighy in her new home. Newt: so cute!
Purslane cracks me up with her half-mast ears.
You forgot to list Kara!
Oh and… Resistance is futile…
Where’d I forget to list Kara? She’s not in today’s post! I object! The tags are right! π
Whew, cuz I couldn’t find her either! I thought I was going blind!!!
Dandelion found a home! I must have missed a couple of posts :-/
I am SOOOOO happy for her!!!
That first picture is adorable beyond comment π
Purrs
I think I talked about it in Monday’s post – it certainly happened fast!
My lucky carries a penguin around an howls whilst doing so. Tyrion (brat) bunny kicked it
To death. Guess who can see enough to keep a 15 year old cat happy.
LOL, Tyrion! What a little terror. π
Always beautiful posts!
Yep – Dandelion is on to train hew new minions. I have a foster here right now that is going to be the same way….. π
Robyn, this comment is for you. Do you ever need volunteer help at your place or somewhere?
Lynn, I don’t ever need volunteers here – we don’t really have a problem getting everything done ourselves – but Challenger’s House could always use more volunteers both at the shelter and at Petsmart! π
Pearl. That’s a great name for her. Especially with her alternate creamy/pink coat.
Is it me or are the Weeds and the boys looking espeically cuddly/gorgeous today? I would so adopt them all but I don’t want the housing/city after me for too many cats.
They’re exceptionally cuddly kitties, that’s for sure! π
This is only my second time commenting, although I’m a faithful daily reader since Emmy’s kittens were a few days old (and have e-mailed Robyn privately 2 or 3 times). I saw this today and just had to share it with all you ladies. Maybe your hubby/child/partner/significant other/co-workers need an idea for a Christmas present for you? http://www.superjeweler.com/ItemDetail/.10ct-cat-heart-pendant-in-sterling-silver-in-6658.asp?PID=806314&source=coj if you add the code BRADSDEALS the price drops to $21.89. BTW, I have nothing to do with this at all — not getting a commission or anything like that. I just thought it was so cute, but I’d never have any opportunity to wear it, so I just wanted *someone* out there to get the chance to snag it.
This blog is the thing I look forward to every day. Sometimes, like today, I try to save it until I get some work done — so that it’s a reward. Most days though it’s the first thing I look at when I turn on the computer so that I can get through the rest of the day with a better attitude!
Hugs to all my fellow cat lovers!
Got your postcard yesterday!! Love the picture!!
Princess PEARL has a nice ring to it. I am so happy for that little sweetie.
First photo: Synchronized napping!
I love the name Pearl.
Dingle Bells! LOL!
Duke Man and Pearl Girl are doing wonderfully!! She is exploring her new home and already loving her new brother. They are getting closer and closer to cuddling. They won’t let me take many pictures because as soon as I move they immediately wonder what ther Mama is doing. She has completed our little family. π
I truly envy you being able to adopt Pearl & you picked the perfect name for her. I hope you have many, many years together ahead of you.
Another foster feline wins the Kitty Lottery… makes my day.
Awwwwwww, I am SO GLAD that it’s going well! I expect that there will be cuddling before you know it! π
Maybe she can sometimes be called Dande Pearl. Like in Dandy!!!!! π
Bye bye Weeds! We’ll miss you! Good luck in your new home Dandelion!
Newt too cute!
