I updated the Flickr page with all the cards I’ve received thus far (I last checked the PO Box on, I think, Thursday. I’ll run up there again today or tomorrow!).
Also, check out #98, with everyone’s favorite flirty little tuxie at the top:
(That’s Norbie!)

Flookdate!
(For those who are new or don’t remember, a Flookdate is an update on former fosters Flynn (formerly Kohle) and Hook (formerly Puff), who were adopted by Selena!)
Hook cracks me up! He knows how to relax.
I was packing for over night at my parents house. Flynn wanted to make sure he got to go too.
Hook loves my Pooh collection in my room at my parents.
Flynn hides out in the guest room.
Both boys are a mess! I can’t remember if I’ve mentioned it or not but Hook is thisclose to being as big as Flynn. I feel sure he is going to end up the bigger brother! He is a little piggy and thinks he needs to eat anytime I am in the kitchen. I can’t believe I’ve already had Flynn a year! It sure has been a fun year!
Thank you so much for the update and the pictures, Selena! I love seeing their sweet faces. 🙂

I dropped Paulie and Meadow off at Petsmart on Friday morning, putting them in their cage with Silvio. Paulie started hissing at Silvio LIKE A GREAT BIG DRAMA QUEEN, but I’m sure that didn’t last. I had to run Melfi up to the vet for a quick id chip insert, and by the time I got back to Petsmart an hour later to drop her off, Paulie had settled down and was looking grumpy, but a lot calmer. I tried to convince Tony and Silvio or Melfi that they didn’t feel well, so they could come home for a few days, but they insisted on being all chipper and clear-eyed.
NO Sopranos got adopted over the weekend, unfortunately. I do NOT know what that’s about, all I have to say is HMPH. Maybe this will be their lucky week!
I finally sat down and made collages for each Soprano kitten – and Livia! – and I’ll share a couple each day today and tomorrow, and then Thursday and Friday.
First up, since we’re doing this alphabetically, is Adriana. I bet Adriana had a great Christmas in her new home, and is being spoiled ROTTEN.
And of course, next comes sweet Miss Carmela.
You can click on either of those collages to see the larger version over at Flickr.

John Smith is all “HOW do I get into that other room?!”
All four of the kittens are utterly fascinated by those mirrors.
Bunnie likes this toy quite a bit.
Toto flirts with the ceiling fan.
I love the whiskers on John Smith. Have I mentioned that he’s just a great big smooshy loverboy? He is!
“Ceiling fan, why you not return my affections?”
Tricki likes to lay on the bottom of the little cat tree.

I really and truly wish Stefan could figure out how to relax!

In that top collage, I love itty bitty kitten crawling over mom’s neck. Mom looks like, “What fresh Hell is this?” LOL
So happy to see former fosters now happy in their forever home.
I tried to include at least one picture of the kitten with Mama in each of the collages. I may have forgotten in one or two, though! But I love mother-and-kitten pictures just SO much! 🙂
I’ve probably asked you this before, but how in God’s name do you get such great cat pictures? I guess you’re not using a cell phone? Are you usually using a flash or natural light? I’m asking because I think I take the worst goddamn cat pictures in the world.
I’ll do a more detailed answer in Friday’s post, but long story short: I use a big ol’ Sony DSLR camera, and I take a LOT of pictures. For instance, in attempting to get a picture for next year’s Christmas card (I have a VistaPrint Groupon I need to use-or-lose by January 7th) I took almost 300 pictures. I ended up with about 20 decent ones and 10 good ones. You have to be willing to spend a lot of time taking and then deleting pictures. I also use natural light as much as possible, and I’ve got really bright lights in the ceiling fans in the rooms where I take the most pictures!
Okay I will def check back on Friday!
NORBIE!!!
FLOOK!!
i so love updates..
Updates are the best! 🙂
Stephan’s fur looks so soft!!
That Carmela spent a lot of time being suspicious of your intentions. MOL Love the updates!
Wow, Norbie’s still gorgeous, color me not suprrised. Love the Flook catch-up. I bet grandma and grandpa are spoiling them rotten.
I hope those sopranos are picked up soon, they’re so sweet.
I’m so jealous that Selena can just pack up Flook for an overnight! I can’t even imagine the drama if I tried that. Hook is adorable.
