“Lady. Why is there boots and gloves on my sleepin’ spot?”
(Don’t worry, I moved them.)
Monday night, instead of closing the door to the foster room after giving Ivy her canned food at bed time, I just left the door open. She came out and had a look around (and eyeballed Khal, who was coming upstairs but stopped on the landing when he saw her), then went back into the foster room. About an hour later I realized she was still in there, so I went in and spoke to her, and she jumped down from the cat tree and followed me into my room. She stayed on the bed with me (alternately snoozing and making biscuits), and at some point during the night she wandered off.
So basically the night went fine, and Ivy has access to the whole house 24/7 now.

Archie’s enjoying his last few days of hanging out under the Christmas tree, because it’s going to get packed away this weekend.

Ivy and the blep of anticipation (there might have been a Churu up there.)
Ivy’s telling Uncle Charlie what’s what. And Charlie doesn’t seem to concerned. I guess he already knew what was what.
Good night innernets. (Ivy and her speckled toeses.)

I just LOVE your blog. It’s so enjoyable to read especially now that I lost my sister two days after Christmas. I’m glad that Miss Ivy’s being adopted soon, but can’t wait to see what other little ones come into your home.
By the way, I also love the toys. Where do you get them as I’ve not seen them in my local Pet Smart or Petco.
I’m so sorry for your loss, Joy.
I get my toys from lots of different places – online at Amazon and Chewy, in my CatLadyBox, and I just recently started getting the Kitnipbox (quarterly) again, too. I also stop in any pet stores I see and usually buy a few (or many) things.
Oh, how I adore Miss Ivy. I would love to have the honor of her living with us, alas it is not an option. Whoever gets the honor of her presence is very lucky. Thanks for sharing her with us…. please give her some lovin’ from me. Thank you.
Ivy is just so beautiful. I’m so happy she is going to a love and hisses alumni. ❤️❤️
On a completely unrelated note, I’m watching LOTR/Fellowship the extended edition for the millionth time (don’t judge), and at 1:00:19 (one hour, 19 seconds) in, Khal Drogo appears as a pub cat at the Dancing Pony!
How cool is that!!
