When I was scanning cards the other day, I had a helper. (I thought the noise of the scanner might scare Drum off, but he wasn’t bothered by it in the slightest – he just didn’t want to stand still, so it took a few scans to get this one!)
Clairee and Ouiser have a snuggle.
“I don’t know if I can make that jump!” complains Drum, who has only made that jump 70 times before.
He went for it, and stuck the landing of course.
Clairee went for it and stuck the landing, too.
And then went Ouiser (also stuck the landing.)
At this point, the only one who hasn’t made that leap is Shelby – she’s still a little too small, I think.
She likes to spend her time playing with toys that are nearly as big as she is.

Newt sure does love the sunshine.

Posted on social media (Facebook/Twitter/Instagram/Tumblr) yesterday.
I’m not sure how Drum (who was snuggled up with Ouiser) could possibly find this comfy, but he was sound asleep hanging half off that cat tree.
Look who it is! It is a very content and happy Sakana (formerly known as M’Lynn). Amy reports that Sakana has met both the dogs and is perfectly fine with them – they’ve even booped noses! Truffles (the other kitty) and Sakana have met, but mostly watch each other from a distance – Sakana is unconcerned. She’s now able to check out the entire house, and her assimilation is pretty much complete. How wonderful is that? It’s only been a few days over a week!
(Thank you SO MUCH, Amy!)

When he thinks it’s Churu time (he always think it’s Churu time), Drum sits on top of the air purifier and gives me the quiet meows of “Lady, I am starvin’.” And he confirms that he’s Da BAYbee.
Napping with kittens is just the VERY VERY BEST. (Ouiser, left, and Clairee. Shelby and Drum were up near my head.)

Ouiser chasing her tail on the cat tree. As you do! (And Clairee ignoring her.)
Good night innernets. (Shelby)

That very last pic of Shelby, the light is just right to show her stripes. So adorable.
I noticed that too, and I love those ninja stripes. 🙂
Hi Robin,
When I get on FB, I always go to your blog link first. The photos & videos bring a smile to my heart. I currently have two cats, & one of them was a foster “fail”…lol. I’m secretly jealous of the big space you have with your foster setup Have a happy day! ⬛
Thank you Tina! 🙂
I love the 3 pictures of the kittens in flight — Drum about to land, Clairee in mid-flight, and Ouiser launching!
I LUV kitty undercarriage pix!! They crack me up. Drum has a pawsome undercarriage, such a good little “helper”, LOL, or was he snoopervising?
