Speaking of cards, I have received a bunch of awesome cards, and actually got around to scanning them in in a timely manner! See them here at Flickr, or scroll through them below.
THANK YOU, everyone who has sent cards. I will, of course, keep scanning them as I receive them (as I recall, last year I received a bunch all at once in the beginning of January!)

This particular playing style certainly reminds me of a very pregnant Canasta.
Ivy’s like “Yeah, I’m just gonna lie here and swat at the feather teaser. You gots a problem with that?”
(A few people have asked if there’s any possibility Ivy is related to Canasta. Well, never say never but Canasta came from Birmingham – about 1 1/2 hours south of us – and Ivy came from about half an hour north of us, so I’m going to say that the likelihood is pretty low.)
“Lady, I’m on the desk. I know what’s supposed to happen on the desk.”
“I’m saving that blop for later.”

The Christmas tree skirt, subdued again. Archie knows his job, and does it well.

Posted on social media (Facebook/Twitter/Instagram/Tumblr) over the weekend.
“I sees you lookin’ at my belly, innernets. I find you RUDE.” Oh Ivy, just give us the babies!
A conversation between Fred and his sister. You guys think I’m kidding when I say he never bothers to learn the fosters’ names (and gives them nicknames instead.)
(FYI, Fred’s nickname for Ivy is “Mama” – that’s what all the pregnant cats’ nicknames are.)
Awww yeah, that’s the spot! Ivy likes a good scritching.
Ivy’s silly little face just kills me dead.
Good night innernets. (Ivy and her toeses.)

Wondering what you’re thinking of the naming theme for Ivy’s kids. Ivy and the DeVines?
Named after flowering vines and climbers? Ya know, since teh kitties will be climbers too 😉 Some examples I found online
Maypop,Hardy Kiwi, hybrids of Clematis: Jackmanii, Nelly Moser, the dainty Betty Corning, or the robust sweet autumn clematis, Trumpet, climbing roses: Varieties include ‘New Dawn’, ‘Don Juan’, and ‘Lady Banks’, Mandevilla, Honeysuckle, Moonflower (wait you had a kitty with that name right?), Wysteria, Cypress, Snapdragon, etc….
Metz-I know Robyn doesn’t mind us answering for her bc she is a busy lady, so YES she will be naming them after vines (creeping/climbing/etc.) I know she wasn’t quite sure about the group name though. The Devines sounds well-divine! LOL. I’m sure she’ll chime in and let us know when she figures it out.
Wouldn’t a batch of Christmas babies be awesome?!! But, maybe it’s me, but she doesn’t look quite ready yet.
That text back and forth is funny…
Ivy really has the sweetest face!
And Fred totally cracks me up!!!
That sticking-her-tongue out picture is hilarious! And so is your caption for it!
