In case you missed it on social media, the good news is that Kim Wexler is ADOPTION PENDING! She will go home after the holidays, and she is going to be SO loved.
Now if people would just step up to adopt her remaining three kittens, that would be WONDERFUL.
And a Nacho in a fancy brass bed. (It cracks me up that that toy taco keeps returning to that bed. I toss it for them, they play with it, and then it ends up in the bed.)
Francesca on the desk. I can’t imagine what she’s waiting for.
They’re pretty sure that all they have to do is sit there and look beautiful, and the Churu will happen.
“They better not be Churu-ing up there without me, lady.” No ma’am. It is not Churu time.

Can I interest you in a bowl full o’ Newt?

I got the news last night – Kim Wexler is now ADOPTION PENDING. Not sure yet when she’ll go home – it might be after the holidays – but she is going to a wonderful home where she’ll be much loved. ❤️
Saul’s keeping an eye on things from up high, and whatever he sees is apparently AMAZING.

Saul’s in a bit of a MOOD.
I don’t know what I did, but Kim Wexler is giving me the Mom Look, so I better cut it out, pronto.

Some quiet time in the kitten room. The girls are eating (look at those TAILS!) and Saul’s doing some renovating.
My what beautiful eyes and glossy fur and long, long legs Francesca has! (Also, a little bit of attitude.)
Good night innernets. (Nacho)
Fish tacos: It’s what’s for breakfast.
Nacho looks very Norma Desmond here. Mr. DeMille, she’s ready for her closeup.
Good night innernets. (Francesco and Saul)
Francesca (left) and Nacho are just little posers, is what they are. Gorgeous girls!

Nacho has a purrrr.

Permanent residents Newt (the buff tabby), Alice (the calico down the hall with something to say) and Trixie (the neighbor’s cat who seems to have taken up residence on our front porch, and who Fred has been letting come inside for longer and longer periods of time.)
Good night innernets. (Mama Kim Wexler on the far left. Next to her, Saul. In the center, Nacho. And on the right, Francesca.)

I’m so relieved that Kim got adopted. I thought about her a lot. We have been caring for two chronically ill siamese brothers for 12 years. We just lost Galahad this week and we’re afraid we only have limited time with Perceval. We have the skills to care for another chronically ill cat and she tugged at my heart. But after the last few years I didn’t know that we could jump right back into it. Thank you for caring for her while she found her home. I’ve been thinking a lot about our boys foster parent this week and feeling grateful for her. And the care she gave our scared boys before they came to us
Ohh… so very sorry for your loss. And hopefully Perceval will be with you for a while yet after all. Sounds like you’ve been on quite a journey together.
I’m so sorry for your loss, Heather.
Well this Trixie situation is quite interesting, I must say. And that’s all I’m going to say about that.
🙂
So happy for Kim!!!

Are you not showing your received cards this year? I really enjoy looking at them.
I am! I just have a few more to scan in. They’ll probably be linked in tomorrow’s post.
