Ahem. We are now ADOPTION PENDING…
On Fritter (left) and Pretzel. TOGETHER.
They’ll be with us for a few more weeks – til right after the new year, possibly, though they might go home before that – so we get to just enjoy them.
This leaves us with Eclair and Annie Oakley still available for adoption. It would be AWESOME if they went together (though it’s not a deal-breaker.) Fingers crossed that that happens.

We have an update! Leo (formerly Athos) was one of the Mewsketeers. Look at this sweet, happy face!
Amy says: Just a brief update on Leo (formerly Athos)…he has blended into the family quite seamlessly! He and big “brother” Dreyfus love to play and chase each other around and wrestle and even occasionally snuggle. His “sister” Bella tolerates him. And he is still a little scared of our dog but is at the same time oddly fascinated of him as well – in fact he enjoys sleeping in the dog’s crate or on his bed occasionall. We are so happy to have adopted Leo into our family! (I get the best pictures of Leo on my lap, hence all the pink blanket pics! LOL) 😊
Is that a happy boy, or is that a happy boy? I love it! (Thanks, Amy!)

Fritter looks surprised at how comfy that ham-mick is.
Laundry Assistant trainer Charlie is all “These kittens have no work ethic. Their folding skills are terrible and they keep napping on the laundry!”
“I TRY, but I am so LITTLE and the laundry is so TALL!” says Annie Oakley.
This tree has Eclair’s approval.
Fritter gives Uncle Charlie The Eye…
“What? Is big enough for two!”
After I delivered Hush Puppy and French Fry to their new home on Friday, we decided it was time to let the kittens have the run of the upstairs. So far, they’re big fans of being able to race from one end of the upstairs to the other and enjoy checking out the cat trees in my room, and napping on Fred’s bed. I took a nap on Sunday and discovered that Fritter fits perfectly on the pillow next to my head, and he was happy to nap there. The girls curled up next to me and on my stomach, and that was a lovely way to spend the afternoon, covered in purring kittens. I highly recommend it.

We moved that recliner from where it was so that we could set up the Christmas tree, and suddenly it’s Jake’s favorite place to snooze. I’ll be curious to see if he continues snoozing in that bed once we’ve moved the recliner back where it was, after the holidays, or if he goes back to completely ignoring it.

Annie Oakley kind of reminds me of Gabrielle from the Les Chatons. Especially in that one picture when she opened her mouth, the resemblance was very clear (in my opinion). I am also very happy for Pretzel and Fritter!
Leo looks very happy and snug. What a happy ending. Nothing says content like sleeping on top of your human!
Thank you Amy!
Leo is Dreyfuss’ mini-me!
I hope Annie & Eclair are adopted quickly, but if not, maybe they can come “home” for Christmas.
A Jake picture, always nice to see!
I love Annie Oakley!! But 6 cats and a cross country move pending makes adoption unwise!
