The kittens have figured out the chip-and-dip plate! (And of course Ouiser and M’Lynn are eating out of the same spot. Ain’t it always the way?)
Shelby, Clairee and Ouiser in the bowl scratcher. It’s the perfect size for those three!
Clairee and Drum have their eyes on the feather teaser.
Ouiser knocked Mister Frog to the floor so she could claim the Adirondack chair, and she’s not sorry.
Looks like Shelby and Ouiser are having a meeting I wasn’t invited to.
I was out of the house for several hours yesterday morning due to an appointment and a bunch of errands I had to run (the fact that Target opens at 7 am for the three weeks before Christmas makes the holiday just THAT much more magical, if you ask me). When I got home, I went upstairs to check on M’Lynn and the kittens, and wouldn’t you know? They were ALL on my bed, sound asleep. I guess during the hours I was gone, the kittens decided that the rest of the upstairs wasn’t actually all that scary. M’Lynn spent the rest of the day on my bed, and the kittens ended up in the cat tree in my office, snoozing the day away. It was nice to see them move past their comfort zone!

Charlie’s annoyed that these packages are on HIS table. The NERVE.

Former foster update! Remember Jethro (formerly Spock) and Elly May (formerly Janeway)? Here they are now!
Tammy says: Christmas is looming closer and the inmates are running the asylum!! The kids are on an adventure everyday exploring ALL of momma’s decorations. I bought a Dollar Tree fake tree for an experiment and unfortunately, there will be no live tree this year at our house. I, also, bought them each a holiday sweater to which they promptly said NO and figured out how to get them off…TWICE!!! We have had to start shutting the bedroom door at night because the kids are under the impression that Friday Night Smack Down tapes in our room at 2am!! We met the new vet last week and both weigh 5.9 lbs. As a final note, the pink cube is alive but barely… they love it so I’ll keep it around.
I LOVE seeing those content little faces! (Thank you, Tammy!)

It’s time to eat, and the kittens are hungry (they are not as loud and screamy as some previous litters… but give ’em time!)
We got that little sack/bed in the Pusheen Cat Kit box last week, and the kittens have been sleeping on top of it. I kept trying to show them that – “look, guys! You can climb inside it!”, but they kept looking at me like I was crazy. Finally, I picked it up, popped Drum in it, carried him around like he was a sack of groceries for a while, and then put him back on the floor. Whereupon he said “Hey, look! I can climb inside it!” and stayed there for a good long snooze.

Clairee just sitting there with her tongue sticking out. As you do.
I love how M’Lynn looks at me like this whole kitten situation is MY fault.
Good night innernets. (Shelby and Ouiser)

I’m impressed that you got the sweaters on the cats at all without going to the ER.
Still so cute!
So much cuteness from the Magnolias! And, thank you Tammy for sharing Jethro and Elly Mae – I love seeing them all grown up and having adventures.
