More random pictures!
This must be from the summer of 2018, since those star-shaped solar lights died (again with the not enough sun in the back yard during the summer) and that feeder is now hanging near the kitchen window. Anyway, that’s a tufted titmouse and I love that bird feeder.
Not a bad picture for one taken through the window.
This feeder disappeared one day, and I still have no idea where it went.
Another shot through the window.
I love how many Chickadees we see around here. When we lived at Crooked Acres, we rarely saw them, and usually only in the winter. Here, we see them all the time.
We got a little snow Tuesday, which was very exciting, and though yesterday was bright and sunny it was also colder than it’s been lately, so the cats stayed inside. Newt loves this box.
I don’t know what caught Khal’s attention, but it must have been something good.

Love, love, love! to see pics of the permies, especially if it includes Khal. You can make ordinary pics so much more extraordinary when you have permies included. I need to learn that talent of picture taking. I also need to get a bigger memory chip for my tablet. 🙁
If I had a nickel for every awesome picture I missed because my iPad is old and doesn’t take the greatest pics, I would be a bazillionaire (I keep saying I need a head-mounted camera that shoots pictures 24 hours a day.)
Is that birdfeeder alongside the star shaped solar lights in the shape of a cat?!!
First and foremost – excellent pics to begin my day. So glad you love cardinals! I’m partial to both the bird and the baseball varieties – – especially living just outside of St. Louis, MO! (But those Blues!!!!! ahhhhhh!) My grandma always said that a cardinal signifies ‘changing weather’… (do with that what you will… or not! 😀 )
Secondly, yesterday was The. BEST. Day. EVER! Not only did I receive my Shady Cove Christmas card (LOVE!!!!!) – it will take its place among the previous L&H cards through the years that are now a part of my Christmas decorations!… but I also received my two L&H calendars!!!!! (one of permies, one of all fosters) I LOVE ALL OF IT!!!!!!!! Hope you’ve received my card as well – will you be posting the cards received? (No pressure whatsoever, just keep lovin on those permies, that’s all!) Have a great “Friday Eve”!!!!
I’ve always heard that cardinals signify a loved one who has passed, that they’re visiting you. (If they actually signify changing weather, I hope the weather is changing for the warmer!)
I am definitely going to scan all the cards I’ve received, probably this weekend. I did get your card, and you’ve actually got mail coming your way, you should get it in the next few days. 😉
Hey, the Blues got a Cup last year, so. 🙂 Just remember that it isn’t who’s on top of their game in December, it’s who’s on top of their game in June that wins. Nobody should know that better than Blues fans. Don’t sweat it, they’ll find their game.
Cheers from Caps Nation. 🙂
The birdfeeder that disappeared? I think Earl the Skwerl knows where it is.
I think you’re right. He’s got those shifty eyes!
Alice has resting bitch face. 😉
