Time to let me know if you want a holiday card, with this year’s featured Crooked Acre permanent resident! Go here to Postable, enter your name and address, and your card will be on the way soon. I am happy to send cards to other countries, this is NOT limited to U.S. residents. If you have any problems, drop me an email and I’ll do my best to fix it. I’ll take names and addresses until December 20th.
If you’d like to send me a card as well (never ever required, but always appreciated – I don’t keep track of who does or doesn’t send a card, I promise!), send it to:
Robyn Anderson

(PS: If that link doesn’t work for you, or you prefer not to enter your info (I delete your name and address once I’ve downloaded it), you can email me instead.)

Hi Robyn, I’m not a stalker, I promise…. I commented on one of your posts last week about Life is Good because I know you order from them and I had a coupon code for you, but it expired now.
Just wanted to let you know that I’m not a weirdo asking you to message me
I must have missed your comment – but rest assured that I wouldn’t have thought you were a stalker! (Although… that would be a great way to get me into your white van – a Life is Good coupon and a couple of kittens, and I’m all yours!) 😀
PS: the best way to contact me (and be sure I’ll see it) is to email me. I try to keep up with the social media comments, but I am not great at it because sitting too long at the computer makes me twitchy.

M’Lynn’s serious little face just kills me.
Shelby could tell that her mother was in the top of the cat tree and was deciding whether or not to attempt the climb. She didn’t – but the day she does, you KNOW I’m going to post about it 10 seconds later!
Later, Drum did make the climb and got a snuggle.
Shelby was under the pink Adirondack chair and kept popping out to smack at Clairee, who’s looking at me like “Do you believe the nerve of this kid?”
M’Lynn curled up on the top of the little cat tree because she knows that the kittens can’t get up there with her. There’s not enough space! She’s a smart one, that girl.
M’Lynn’s tail is the BEST toy, according to Ouiser.
Shelby with the tilted head of “Why you so weird, lady?” is the CUTEST.

Posted on social media (Facebook/Twitter/Instagram/Tumblr) yesterday.
In case you missed it on the blog this morning, M’Lynn is ADOPTION PENDING and will go home in mid-December. She’ll have another kitty about her same age to be friends with, and a wonderful family who will give her all the love and attention she could ever want! ❤️

We have an update on the fosters formerly known as Constance (now Oleander) and Rochefort (now Rhus), who we fostered in 2020 as part of the Mewsketeers.
Cat says: here in muffinland we are readying for the holidays. Oleander and Rhus have taken this very seriously. as this year is the first year we are getting out a bigger tree sense they have been home. the box has been brought in and they are EXCTED, ITS SUCH A BIG BOX!!! they have been very zoom lately with the full moon the other night, and raced all about the house ,rhus narirating much of the adventure.
i chose to give them a presant early this year so that i might get some good pictures. so please enjoy oleander hopnswat, and rhus von chipmunkbutt, in theri fancy new holiday colars.
and them chirping at a very fat dove thre the doorwindow.
Thank you Cat! (If you’re not already following them on Facebook, you can do that here.)

It’s time to eat, and the kittens are hungry*. Ouiser kills me with her very soft, very polite “Please, lady, I am so very hungry.”
*Please note that the sections in the beginning where the kittens were meowing were all shot on different days. I wasn’t letting the kittens STARRRVE just so I could get some cute video.
A close up look at Shelby’s eyes – they’re more green than blue at this point, with just some blue around the edges. Our baby is growing up!

ALL the kittens playing, including Shelby. I love how they’re still gentle with her – a soft little bat at her, a nibble of her ear, and that’s about as vicious as it gets at this point. Too CUTE.
I almost forgot it’s Thlurrrpsday! Fortunately both Ouiser and Clairee were happy to show off their fabulous form. 😛
Good night innernets. (Drum the snugglebug)

2005: From November 2005 until we got Maddy (our first bottle baby!) in September 2006, we had no fosters, thus there are several months without posts.
The first pic of Drum with M’Lynn looks like his tail is about a mile long!
Great to hear M’Lynn has a home; the little ones will have no problems in that department. Too cute!
Ha, ha re: Drum’s tail! Also, I wondered, does Drum show signs of floofiness?
I love former foster updates and would’ve loved to seen the kitties are in around excited about their new Christmas tree but I love hearing about them and how excited they are for the season
Huggsss ! With mama being adopted and the 3 older kittens soon eligible for adoption, does this mean Shelby will be left on her own, or is there a chance that she may stay permanently ?
