Family portrait (left to right: Francesca, Kim Wexler, Nacho, Saul.) I love Kim’s serious face. She’s over my tomfoolery and wants me to get over there with the Churu, and make it snappy.
Nacho in the sun, havin’ a think.
The kittens are all “Laundry’s done, lady!”
Saul wonders, “You got more socks for me to fold?”
“Throw the toy, lady. THROW THE TOY!” Yes ma’am, Nacho.
It’s a Francesca pie. We should have had THAT for Thanksgiving.
Saul hanging out on top of the air purifier. (Getting air purifiers with the controls on the front rather than the top continues to be one of my smarter moves.)

Through the kitchen window. (I’m in the kitchen, at the sink. Charlie’s on the other side of the window, in the screened porch. He and Archie like to jump up there every now and then to keep an eye on me.)

I’m telling you, Saul ADORES that green bean toy. He’s so funny!

Takin’ a nap with the kittens (what? It’s the day after Thanksgiving, it’s made for nappin’!) and messing with Nacho’s toes. She does not appreciate that.
Good night innernets. (From top to bottom of the picture: Nacho, Saul and Francesca)
It’s Small Business Saturday, and what business is smaller than this one-woman operation (because you just can’t count on those darn kids to help)? Come get your fish tacos!

I’ll never stop being amazed at how high Francesca and Nacho can jump when they want to.
Saul appears to be a big fan of lights. (And he didn’t even try to bite it!)

Rocco (the black and white cat) is a cat who belongs to someone in our neighborhood. He and his sister/friend Trixie have taken up residence on our front porch. We feed them, we spayed/neutered them, and we keep an eye on them, but I don’t consider them permanent residence (let me live in my denial, wouldya?) Rocco is very flirty with Charlie, but Charlie isn’t sure he cares for the cut of Rocco’s jib.
Good night innernets. (Kim Wexler)
Francesca has such PRETTY eyes. 👀

Mama Kim Wexler shows off her graceful moves. ❤️
The tuxies (Nacho, left, and Saul) are wondering if it’s nap time yet.

Yes, the kittens – who are 4 months old today, as a matter of fact – still try to nurse. Kim will allow them to nurse for very short periods of time if she’s feeling nice (I don’t think she’s producing milk anymore, they’re just comfort nursing at this point), but when she’s not in the mood for their nonsense, she lets them know!

YAY!!!! First the calendars, then the Christmas cards… all looked-forward-to holiday traditions! Robyn, I’m just throwing this out there… would you ever consider doing a calendar of previous Love & Hisses holiday cards? (PS: I would buy that!!!!) Again, just throwin’ it out there. As you know, the L&H Christmas cards are part of my Christmas decor – and they’ve taken their rightful place on my refrigerator this past weekend!!! (Now, for the rest of the house & holiday decor!) Have a great day and a great week!
I would be happy to do a calendar of previous Love & Hisses cards, but it won’t be this year. I’ll add a note to my early-November reminder email, and I will make it happen for 2024! 🙂
Re: the air purifier comment….I have a glass top stove with the controls in the glass. I often hear beeps in the night as on of the kitties walk across it (although I try to train them not to). I was extremely worried until I learned two things about the range top…it is smart enough to know if there isn’t anything on the burner, it just turns itself off….and to not leave anything on the burners…
My cats started the self-cleaning cycle by walking on my glass top stove when I wasn’t home…and there was a cookie sheet in the oven! Luckily I got home before a fire started, but I learned to LOCK my control panel after that!
Thank god for smart stove tops!
Trying to distract us with that wise choice in air purifiers, while Saul is rightly horrified by that BIG DEAD RABBIT (or whatever it is) in the room.
I noticed how nicely that was framed in the mirror. My guess was a platypus.
Ha – that’s a big ol’ (stuffed) rat. I’m pretty sure Kim left it there for me!
