I’ve put together a collage of random pictures for each of the Grocers kittens (I always intend to do this for each litter, but often don’t get a chance to). They were with us for a little over two months (except Catelyn, who was with us for just about a month), and it’s kind of amazing how much they changed over that time.
(Click on any of these to see a larger version over at Flickr.)
Catelyn.
PW.
Ralph.
Trader Joe.
Von.
Winn Dixie.
I also put together a side-by-side comparison for each kitten with the first picture I posted of each kitten, next to (one of) the last.

Their little round baby faces just kill me dead.
To wrap it up, I put together a video comprised of 300+ pictures of the kittens, and a soundtrack provided by PW.

For those of you who are wondering about that empty foster room, don’t worry. It’s not like I’d let it stay empty for much longer than it takes to get it scrubbed down. I’ll be getting a new resident for the foster room in a few hours, and you’ll get to hear all about his story in tomorrow’s post!

“Don’t need no residents for that foster room, lady. What you NEED to do is throw another bed on the pile. NOW.”

Robyn – – thank you!!! Although, you have certainly set the bar high with this litter and spoiled us all in doing so… first the Saturday posts, then the collages, then the video!!! Ohhhhhh! About the video – yes, it’s early here, but it took me a while (and some more coffee) of trying to figure out WHY I could NOT get my sound to work on the video and WHY is my laptop making that whirring/vibrating sound…. DUH! Never claiming to be one ‘quick on the uptake’ – – especially this early! I have now watched 4 times – loving each time more! Oh, the ear floof kills me dead! I am so envious / jealous / happy for this entire litter’s new furrever families! And so happy for the kittens themselves! Looking forward to updates and your new resident! Thanks again (and again!)
“WHY is my laptop making that whirring/vibrating sound” – that is excellent! 🙂
Wow…what a great post! All the pictures and the video just squeezed my heart! I loved that litter so much! I am going to have to poise my mouse over the pause button and relish each and ever picture in that video. Thank you for taking the time and putting forth the effort for today’s post. It is just wonderful!
I, too, am so envious / jealous / happy for this entire litter’s new furrever families!
Can’t wait to see tomorrow’s post!!!!
so much outrage and floof in that video!
My calendar arrived yesterday, adorbs, as usual! 😉
You spoil us! Can’t wait to meet Crooked Acres’ newest lodger.
LOVE seeing all the pictures. I have taken to making CDs for the kittens I foster when I am doing their adoptions myself….it is fun to look back and see how much they have changed. 🙂 Can’t wait for tomorrow
Wow, Robyn, you are amazing! Loved the retrospectives you’ve put together for us. I hope all the hoomins who adopted the Grocers know about your blog and see this post and all the previous ones about their babies. Boy, adopting an L&H foster comes with so many extras!
BTW, last week when I was asking for feedback about my Tortie-tude t-shirt design, someone asked for one for Tuxies. This is a draft: https://www.facebook.com/specialcustomtshirts/photos/a.380644632085437.1073741827.380632528753314/399509616865605/?type=1&theater
Not really liking the graphic and thinking I need to look for something better. What do you think? Would you buy this? Thanks for any feedback, good or bad.
P.S. I’m saving the video for later in the day, after I’ve gotten work done. That’ll be my reward…
Cute t-shirt though I wish you could see more of the tuxie’s face. Will you do women and men’s t-shirts, or just multi-sex?
SC Amy — I totally agree with you. That’s why I wasn’t happy with the graphic either. I thought at a minimum, the face should have whiskers. But once I’m happy with the design, there will be a women’s option as well as the generic/multi-sex. Also will be in a long-sleeve and I think a v-neck and a hoodie too.
Thanks for your input! Charlene
This has to be one of the prettiest litters I’ve seen. I loved this post and I will miss those beautiful cats – I fall hard for floof! Thanks Robyn…
Ditto!
I am such a sucker for the Alice Mo song. The review of the kittens was wonderful. We live vicariously through you. Eternal Spring !
They don’t seem to have changed that much, except for the meezers who got a little more color on their faces. Oh and they’re all bigger of course.
I’m curious, what do you do to clean the room in between litters? Is it just like a regular cleaning or is there anything special you do like wash everything with bleach? And what about what’s carpeted, like the cat trees?
Robyn, thank you so much for the video! Exquisite photos of the Grocers, and PW’s purring – genius!
Wanted also to tell you, I recently looked after my 3 yo nephew for 10 days, and every morning we’d come straight here on my iPhone. Alice the Frog was his very favourite, and he would ask to see her several times a day. He was in love with all the Grocers, especially Trader Joe and Piggly Wiggly (insisted on using his full name).
aah.. purr therapy, just what I needed about now
LOVE the video!!! What a beautiful batch of personalities you had with those babies!!! And PW’s purring…. I feel so privileged to have been able to cuddle & play with that baby during the one day he spent at PetSmart! What an adorable boy – as they all were!! HOW in the WORLD are you going to be able to pick out photos from that batch for next year’s calendar????? Do NOT envy your task on that one! 🙂
Pleeeeaaaase let the new foster be Terry!
I love the pic of tiny PW next to your ( or Fred’s?) finger.
