I can’t get your Amazon wish list to work . Do you still have one ?
I do! this is the link (and it’s also in the sidebar) – if that link doesn’t work for you, please let me know!
(PS: I just realized that I must have messed up the link in the sidebar when I was messing with stuff recently! It should be fixed now!)

So, I’m a novice with Churu and find it messy as all get out. (Especially when tearing off the end didn’t actually open the tube!) Is there some trick to getting it into the cat without dripping it all over? Inquiring minds want to know. 😉
There’s a learning curve for you as well as the cats! First, I hold it at the end where you open it and then I shake it so that the Churu goes to the other end of the tube. Then I use scissors to cut the end of the tube open, and then you’ve gotta just squeeze the Churu out a little at a time, let them lick it off, and then squeeze a bit more out.
With all that said, I still drip it on the table/floor sometimes, but once we’re done with Churu I point out the extra Churu spots to whichever kitten is still hanging around, and they’re happy to lick it up!

Carmy and Richie under the ham-mick, keeping an eye on me.
And all four of the little monkeys (there was a feather teaser involved in the making of this picture.)
Richie says “Your slippers are comfy, lady!” Indeed they are.
Oh, this girl. I just want to squoosh her!
Carmy wonders if it’s time to go to school. He’s got a trigonometry problem he just can’t figure out.
Jeff says “Lady, look. I gots a foot!” And a cute one it is.
Carmy’s all “Tryin’ to nap here, lady.”

Trixie wandered across the front yard the other day and I took a couple of pictures for those of you wondering how she’s doing. (To recap: Trixie showed up along with Rocco not long after we moved into this house 3 years ago. They spent 95% of their time on our front porch, so we fed them, vetted (spayed/neutered) them, and finally set up a safe space inside the garage (with heated beds) for them. Earlier this year, shortly after a neighborhood bully cat (who we called Moby because he was huge and unneutered) disappeared, Trixie decided she’d go looking for greener pastures, and appears to have taken up with the people to whom Moby belonged. (Did Trixie initially belong to those people? Don’t know! Not asking!))
And they are apparently keeping her very, very well fed. Or she’s put on her winter weight. Or both!
She did not care to come over to be petted, just wandered across the front lawn, eyeballed some birds, and then went back home.

Posted on social media (Facebook/Twitter/Instagram/Tumblr) yesterday.
Happy Thlurrrpsday from Jeff, who has excellent thlurrrping form.

Throw Back Thursday: In April of 2021 we were fostering Canasta and her kittens (the Cardsharks). One evening I was feeding them their canned food, and Fred and Uncle Charlie were waiting for them to finish eating so they could play with them. Fred – FOR SOME UNKNOWN REASON – decided to start whistling, and a moment later I closed a drawer. This started a Category Six Kittenado that scattered to all the corners of the room. Fortunately, I was able to stitch together video from three Nest cameras to show the Kittenado is all its glory (my particular favorite is Uncle Charlie’s reaction to the scattering kittens.) Fred was of the opinion that I’d caused it to happen by closing the drawer, thus his “That was you!” in response to my turning and looking at him. (Yes, that blurred spot on the couch is Fred.)
I don’t know where these ridiculous kittens get a reputation for being Churu addicts. (From left: Richie, Sydney, Jeff and Carmy, who is cracking me up with that tongue.)

I think Tina’s favorite time of day is when the kittens are off downstairs and she can play by herself. She is one playful girl!
You suppose Churu was involved with all this thlurrrping? (Of COURSE.)

I think the final iteration clearly shows the mayhem begin with the whistling. Why? If only I had kitten hearing to understand it. 🙂
Oh, I want to see the rest of those slippers. The part that shows in the photo looks really cute.
I do the same with the Churu / other brand tubes, shake it down and use scissors to open. My kitties couldn’t get the hang of licking it out of the tube so I put it in small shallow dishes for them to enjoy. Spoiled?? Nah!!!!
Nice to see Trixie is nice and plump!!!
