Shelby’s Precious Moments eyes just kill me.
What are Ouiser and Clairee watching, do you think?
It’s a feather teaser! Ouiser’s got it (she thinks.)
Clairee’s just going to stay where she is and hope it comes by again.
I bought that basket at Trader Joe’s last week, and the kittens are OBSESSED. And Shelby’s obsessed with watching them.
She loves to watch the big kittens.
Checking to see if there’s room in there for her. (She ended up wandering off.)
M’Lynn says “You behaving yourself?” and Drum says “Yes, ma’am.”
Like many kittens before her, Ouiser loves that little blue cat tree.

I’m not sure pink and yellow are two colors I’d put together, at least not in those shades, but Alice doesn’t care. As long as it’s comfy, she’s happy.

Posted on social media (Facebook/Twitter/Instagram/Tumblr) yesterday.
A few people have asked if the bigger kittens have tried nursing, and oh YES INDEED – they are constantly nursing. She’s not producing milk, but they’re comfort nursing whenever she’ll let them (and she doesn’t appear to mind it one little bit.)
Ouiser and Drum are facing off, and M’Lynn is all “Y’all keep it down over there.”

Introducing a new generation of kittens to the awesome spring toy… and watching Drum play.
M’Lynn was trying to rest her leg on top of Ouiser, and Ouiser got all bitey and M’Lynn was like “Sigh. Where DID all these kittens come from?!”

M’Lynn’s busy keeping those kittens clean.
Clairee, Ouiser and Drum are bellied up to the milk bar. (Yes, they are comfort nursing; no, she’s not producing milk. Don’t feel sorry for Shelby, she decided she wanted some peace and quiet and made herself a nest.)
Good night innernets. (Ouiser, Drum and Shelby in the pie plate, Clairee on the bed to the right.)

I will never not laugh out loud at the Downfall of Senator Stanly J Boogerton. And how in the world did it take me so long to notice “Washington Journal” on the tv behind reporter Spot J And3erson?
Also, in Shelby’s Precious Moments picture, are those tiny ears of annoyance I see?
Alice looks so happy!
After reading the comment above, I had to go back and read the Downfall of Senator Stanley J. Boogerton…it is an absolute classic!!!! And it brings back so many memories of the “stars” of that story!
Assimilation has been completed.
M’lynn is such a sweet girl. How’s her heat?
Shelby looks like you stole her lunch money haha
Do nursing kittens make it better or worse for M’lynn’s heat cycle? Inquiring minds want to know.
If i could get to Huntsville, I’d adopt Shelby. She’s just precious. All of your fosters are always adorable.
