The kittens are doing well – everyone’s playing, everyone’s eating, everyone’s gaining weight (though Wild Bill Hickok would like the world to know that he’s being starved TO DEATH and he would like this situation rectified immediately. Pay no attention to the fact that he gained 3 ounces in 2 days.)
To be honest, it doesn’t actually seem like 15 kittens in that room – it seems like maybe 10. Except when I’m medicating them, and then it seems like 142. (I kid – it only takes about 20 minutes to medicate them all, and most of that time is double-checking my chart to be sure the dose is right and then tracking down the correct kitten.)

Is there a story of how you came upon so many at one time? Hope it doesn’t push any buttons by asking.
They came from various places and have been with Michelle (who I foster under) for several weeks. Their entire story (as much as I know) is in yesterday’s post.
Since this group has so many look-a-likes (in addition to Winter/Tater I think the black ones look similar to others of the past), is there a chance they are distantly related? Kitten genealogy seems way easier than REAL genealogy in that they aren’t all named Mary Elizabeth Smith or John Johnson.

Well I’m not going to trim 15 kittens’ nails at once. I’ll do ’em in batches (though I’m sure that will also require a chart so I can keep track of who’s been done.)
I bet your litter boxes are sure there are 15 kittens in that room.
