The 2025 Love & Hisses calendars are available for order! This year you get your choice of EIGHT different calendars – one that includes all fosters, one for each litter, one for Natalie, and one with the permanent residents (and Rocco the freeloader.)
These calendars are print on demand – you place the order at Zazzle, and they ship them straight to you. They do ship to other countries, but I don’t know how much shipping is.
The calendars default to medium size, start in January (for 12 months), and have white binding wire. You have any number of details you can change, it’s all up to you.
Calendars start at $24.25, but there’s almost always a sale code you can input. At the moment, if you use the code ZHALLOWEEN25, you’ll get 25% off.
I’ll put links to the calendars in the sidebar, and link them in blog posts once a week or so until the end of December. (I usually leave them available until sometime in mid-January, when I remember to take the links down.) Click below on any calendar cover picture to go to that specific calendar, or see the whole collection right here. Edited to add: If you’re in the UK, go here.

The kittens taking their mid-morning nap. They SHOULD be doing their homework, but they’re slackers.
But something is going on over near the food dish… What is it?
Carmy was first to investigate, and he said “Oh, this isn’t good.”
Sydney came down, sniffed Carmy, and said “Oh, I’m thirsty.” I swear to you, she did NOT notice a THING.
She drank some water… and drank some water… and then started to notice that something was… different.
Then she saw it. And it saw her!
She gave him A Look.
“What?” said Uncle Charlie.
She tumbled backward, got to her feet, and regarded him from a distance.
“I’M NOT FOOLIN’ WITH YOU, MISTER!” she said.
Richie donned his floof suit in sympathy, and Jeff took one look at this situation and went to hide under the bed.
Charlie walked away from the food bowl and jumped up onto the cat tree while Sydney watched in horror.
“Not loving this situation, but I think she’s got it under control,” said Richie.
Sydney had some thoughts about Charlie and the horse he rode in on.
“HOW IS THIS HAPPENING?” Sydney asked.
Carmy (front) and Richie kept an eye on Charlie.
Richie continued wearing his floof suit, just in case.
Charlie refused to come down out of the cat tree – despite his obvious wish to be away from that scary kitten – because he didn’t want to have to pass her on the way out the door. So I picked him up and carried him out of the room. Then I returned to the room, and Sydney hissed at me, hissed at her brothers, and hissed at a passing bird. It took her about half an hour to calm down from the experience – perhaps I mentioned she’s a little bit dramatic? – but she certainly had a story to tell her mama when she got home!

Posted on social media (Facebook/Twitter/Instagram/Tumblr) yesterday.
Former foster update! Maggie was our 2nd pregnant foster, way back in 2011. She’s the cat who taught me that not every pregnant cat gives birth immediately (she waited 3 weeks and then had 6 brown tabbies!) Look at that GORGEOUS girl.
Alex says: At 15 years old, Maggie continues to be my precious lap kitty. While she tends to keep her distance from two 2-year old cats (we refer to them as her nephews), she can be found, from time to time, cuddling up to one of the brothers. Her last visit to the vet went amazingly well. According to the vet, she is still in great shape and doing wonderfully.
With the cold weather approaching here in Wisconsin, there will be very little outdoor time, but during the warm months, we let Maggie explore the yard a bit; she never strays far from the house.
She continues to be showered in more love than she probably wants, and she continues to shower everyone but me with mostly indifference, but I know she actually loves her life and those around her.
Thank you, Alex!

Richie’s wearing his very best crazy pants today.
Did you know that Tina – who will put up with pretty much ANYTHING as long as you reward her with a Churu – is available for adoption? True story! Email Forgotten Felines of Huntsville at info (at) ffhsv.org if you think she’s just what you need to brighten up your life.

When I say the kittens are going to “school,” this is where they go. It’s just a small room off of my bedroom. It used to be my office, but it’s so convenient when I need it for kittens (more than one litter has been born in this room) that I don’t think I’ll ever move my computer back in there. (Also, now that they’re comfortable in this room, I’m going to open the door so that they can have my bedroom to run around in, too. Are naps with kittens a part of my near future? Yes indeed they are.)
Today Richie’s belly was not a trap and many belly rubs were given.

Omg the floof suit photos are hilarious!!! Your captions make it even better, i was laughing – i pulled my colleague over to observe the floof and drama lolol.
Thanks! 🙂
One of the best story pics ever!
Oh my, is it too late to edit a calendar?? Because Sydney NEEDS to be an October centerfold with her awesome Halloween floof suit!!
(Poor baby, I know you gave her plenty of hugs after that! )
I couldn’t agree more! She really has mastered the Halloween scaredy cat pose 🙂
I actually uploaded them late last week and a few were ordered/printed, so it’s too late unfortunately (though I did get it into the Chefs calendar, which was the last one I made.) It’s the story of my life that the instant the calendars are locked in and uploaded, a PERFECT picture happens, just a few days too late!
In case it’s useful to others – I ordered a calendar from zazzle.co.uk and the calendar itself worked out as just under £18 (with today’s discount code). The cheapest available shipping was £3.19 (no tracking, and takes about 3 weeks) but faster/more expensive is also available for those not doing their Christmas shopping in October (!). Thanks Robyn, my 9-year-old will LOVE this – we only discovered your work earlier this year and it’s become a major favourite in our house 🙂
Ireland here, the UK website was recommended to me and I didn’t bother checking the situation yet cos just at looking at the pictures point yet. Not the early bird you are!
Thanks for the info.
I’ve got my next year’s diary a while already!!!! Will give it another while to decide on calendar.
Robyn’s page is brilliant isn’t it?
Thanks for this, Leanne – I added the UK link to the post!
Worldwide shipping rates from the US version of the Zazzle site do tend to be pretty ridicuous, but they have a presence in a few other parts of the globe (Europe, Brazil, Australia, and Japan) which might cut down on the cost, depending on where you are. All the international versions can be found at this page:

Great post today! Love Sydney and her scaredy cat poses. Could you add this post to the favorites page please?
Will do!
Agreed, this needs to be in the Favorites. I mean, a Maggie update AND Sydney’s astoundingly perfect floof suit? Doesn’t get any better for a L&H fan than that!
Oh boy! Sydney went full on Halloween cat! Your captions make the pics even better. Thank you for sharing all the kittens and their days with us. It is the first thing I check on each day.
Hahahaha Sydney the Halloween cat! Just in time for Halloween! What a shame it didn’t make the calendars.
Actually, that gives me an ideal for a calendar for 2026: a floof suit calendar.
That’s an idea! (Was just thinking yesterday as I uploaded pictures to Flickr that I need to corral all the floof suit pictures into one album.)
And Sydney’s floof suit has GOT to be the October picture.
I’ve been following since covid at least and I think before that, and I’m not sure I’ve ever read about Charlie being fazed by a kitten before, let alone kinda scared of one!
Absolutely awesome pix and captions Robyn, thank you for always sharing these babies with us ❤️
When they get super floofed and hissy, it makes him nervous. SKEERY!
oh my cod!!! sydney izza too funny!!! berry halloweenie!!!
Maggie reminds me of Sheriff Mama Kara. That same steely “don’t try to pull anything over on me” stare. I’m sure she’s really a softie underneath. <3 Love the updates!
Yes, absolutely – serious faces like they will MESS YOU UP, but honestly just the sweetest girls ever!
OMG I needed that laugh today. What a drama queen
Sydney’s floof suit is rockin’ my world! One pic looks like she’s holding her breath (the “Charlie walked away…” pic), then there’s the adorable Tina in the sunflower get-up; how different could they be?
Sydney’s “I’M NOT FOOLIN’ WITH YOU, MISTER!” photo had me in fits of laughter. No wonder Charlie was skeered. What a dramatic floofster she is!
Me too! Veritable FITS!!
I’M NOT FOOLIN’ WITH YOU, MISTER photo! She looks like Toothless!!!!
Love today’s post!
There needs to be a calendar with all the cover photos of the other calendars! Also, do they have a build your own calendar where we can pick the photos???
No, they don’t have that option. That would certainly make life easier for me! 🙂
Thanks for making me smile even when I’m down. Luigina
Oh my word, I was CHOKING, I was laughing so hard at Sydney — what an adorable little goofball. She might be a little bit slow on the uptake in terms of being aware of her surroundings, but then she made up for it AND HOW!! So glad that you captured that whole occurrence! But I am not ok — I am absolutely weak from laughter and will need to take the rest of the day off.
🙂
P.S. “Sydney had some thoughts about Charlie and the horse he rode in on.” Yet again, caption GOLD!
I have been waiting for the Chefs to meet Uncle Charlie! They do not disappoint. Sydney is such a drama queen.
The dramatics! Love Sydney, with her super floofy floof suit and looks that would surely kill any lesser creature that dared intrude on her domain!
