Oh that Carmy, he is just a CUTIE PIE.
Sydney took a stroll along the window sill and then considered jumping down to that cat tree.
But then she was like “No, that’s too far” and she backed up…
Jeff’s not sure what happened, but he’s not too bothered.
Do it be Churu time? I think it do! (From left: Richie, Jeff, Sydney, Carmy.)
This lean was caused by me hiding the teaser behind my back. I wish Carmy had leaned too!

Posted on social media (Facebook/Twitter/Instagram/Tumblr) this weekend.
Carmy is 10 weeks old today! This is what he looks like – so grown up! – and a picture of him next to his mama. There’s a definite resemblance, not only in looks, but in personality. He is a sweet little snuggler, just like his mama. (Weight-wise, he weighed in at 3 pounds, 1 ounce/1.39 KG)
Tina continues to be available for adoption; email Forgotten Felines of Huntsville at INFO (at) FFHSV.ORG to inquire.

Play time in the kitten room: Sydney & the track toy, Carmy & the spring toy, Richie & mama’s tail. Jeff’s around somewhere!
Jeff in the sunshine being a cutie pie.

Time lapse: I pulled this off of the Nest camera in the foster room – it’s about 17 minutes sped up so the video is just over 1 minute long. Tina starts out in the pie plate, calls all the kittens to the milk bar, lets them nurse, and then strolls away leaving them in a pile.
Good night innernets. (Carmy, Jeff & Richie. Sydney is in the window bed directly above them.)
The jungle cube is busy today! (From left: Carmy, Sydney coming out & Richie going in.)
Sydney says “Oh 💕 ceiling fan 💕 where’ve you been all my life?” 😻

We’re giving the cat ball launcher another try, and this time around they (especially Sydney!) think it’s pretty cool. (Yes, I could just toss the balls, but I HAVE the launcher – someone sent it to us – why not use it?)
Richie and Sydney are just loafin’. (Richie/Sydney loaf = my favorite!)

Tossing toys for the kittens… and if you haven’t figured out by now that Sydney brings the drama, here’s just one example of it. (I think Richie startled her, causing the jump-hiss-spit, and Richie was like “What’d *I* do?!”)
Good night innernets. (Richie, with a lights-on, no-one-home situation going on.)
Carmy wonders… “What kind of adventures are we gonna go on today?!”
Sydney is delightfully floofy.

I think we can agree that Sydney’s favorite move is the arch-up-and-skitter (well, mostly the arch up. Though she likes a good sideways hop, too.) In this video (near the end), Jeff stands up to her, and when he walks away it’s the proud “I told HER!” walk.
Tina has got the PRETTIEST green eyes.

Tossing toys for the kittens (and Tina!) They’re starting to get the hang of it! (That purring you hear at the beginning is Tina sitting on my lap being petted.)
Good night innernets. (In the window bed, from left: Jeff, Sydney and Carmy. Richie is in the bed below them.)

Sydney is like a baby Khal with her floofs.
I wonder what Kahl will think once the babies get the run of the house.
I got the s
Squash bugs in jail for the banner!!! Ohhhh, I love that picture soooooo much!
All those babies are so adorable! Tina is elegant!!
Camry’s mom would be so proud of him.
She was so sweet. So thankful that his current mom is such a great mom with a big heart.
carmy looks like hiz mama!!
Today is the first Monday without sweet, old-man Newt’s picture. I miss him dearly after so many years. I thought he was doing well for his age. Had he shown any signs of illness, Robyn? His demise seemed to happen quickly. Thank you and Fred for all you do, you are the truly the best.
I am not at all surprised that Carmy Miraclekitten is a sweet little snuggler. Like mama, like perfect brown tabby son. And you know, that particular phrasing reminded me of someone else, because it echoed a prior description of a kitten: Another sweet little snuggler? True Blood Terry! I just bet Carmy grows up to be a similarly amazing cat. He’s got the purrrrrr down already. Is he a talker like that entire litter (and his second mom, hi Tina), or not so much?
Carmy talks a little bit if he needs to, but he’s mostly quiet. (I sure did love that Terry!)
Natalie in her pearls
I looked at her calendar and just couldn’t, it’s beautiful but too much. Xx
Sorry, I don’t know what or how I’m ever healing after my dear sweet Poppy was killed and something with this dear sweet baby girl tore me up so much I felt sick looking at her calendar.
Will you be adding some of her pictures in favourite pictures or in a little memorial garden section for her?
Xx
She has her own page (linked from the All Fosters page), I’m not planning to do anything beyond that.
I don’t know why I forgot to mention this – Natalie is buried beneath a beautiful rose bush in our back yard, and someone sent us an angel cat statue, so I’ve placed that under the rose bush. (I will try to remember to post a picture of the rose bush/statue in tomorrow’s post!)
