I have an update! I KNOW y’all remember Pattypan, because it hasn’t been all that long since she was adopted. But let me show you a few pictures as a reminder, just because.
(That’s her over on the right. SO MUCH ANGUISH.)
She’s been renamed Peanut, and Kim said:
She loves sitting on nightstand and watch me clean. She is such a sweetheart. She is a great addition to our family!
Don’t you just love seeing that sweet face again? Thanks for the update and pictures, Kim!
(I told Kim that Peanut didn’t see much cleaning when she was here! Ha.)

Spitz – from 2 weeks to 3 months old.
One of the first and one of the last pictures of Spitz.
Spitz and the teddy – 3 weeks old and 3 months old.
(I didn’t get the teddy pics taken for all the Swimmers, unfortunately. The good thing about having two litters of kittens is how wild and crazy it is. The bad thing is that I don’t get as many individual pictures of each kitten as I’d like.)

Alice, sharing the couch with Dennis.
And practically snuggled up to Jake! (That’s a heated blanket they’re laying on, and it was turned on. I don’t think she’d have been quite so close to him otherwise.)

If Alice de Frog wins, does she get extra lovin’ time with her favorite man?
I’m not sure she could get any more time than she’s currently getting without making him into a suit. π
Awwww…Pattypan! And YOU gave her the purple teddy!!! π That made my day!
I noticed –and smiled at–the purple teddy too! Robyn is so good to her babies.
I actually bought those with the intention of sending them home with the kittens. I like them to have something that reminds them of their first home. The Squash Bugs all got teddies in their toy bags – the Swimmers got mini Beanie Babies!
The post for this time last year has a video of Jake howling with a toy in his mouth which absolutely cracked me up – Angus does this too and one of his first nicknames within about a week of coming to live here was Loudy MacLoud, The Loudest Boy I Know. He also seems to favor 2am as Howlin’ Time(tm).
These days, he does it right at bedtime. Howls and howls and howwwwwls. If he does it in the middle of the night, I don’t hear him!
ah yes….the enemy becomes friend when heat is involved π
Peanut is even cuter….
Every time I see that picture of the three kittens howling at the bars of their cage, I get a big dopey smile on my face. That has to be my all-time favorite Love and Hisses pic!
me too…they are just so dramatic…all they need are tin cups do drag over the bars
An absolute ditto here! Best picture I have ever seen! It should win some sort of award!
I think of this when I see those three standing behind bars:

Oh me too!!
HEE-HAW!!
It’s one of my favorites, too. π
Kim, thank you so much for the update and pictures. Looks like Peanut has the good life and she will be a very content and happy kitty.
What the heck is on the couch with the cats? They look like pillows or giant marshmallows.
Looks like Peanut is living the good life! π
I voted! Now where’s my “I Voted Today” sticker with a cat on it? (I can totally see this–that picture of an upside-down Spitz would do nicely.)
