Carmy’s sweet little face kills me.
Richie’s sweet little face kills me too. (And look at that insanely long tail!)
Churu time! (Don’t you worry, Tina got her share.)
Then she wondered if she could jump to the other scratcher from there. (She could and she did and she continued from that scratcher to the bed. She did it so fast I didn’t even think to take pictures until she was already on the bed!)
Carmy and Richie are allowed to go downstairs if they want to. They usually go down for a little while, poke around, and then want to go back upstairs…. that’s where all the good toys and the electric blanket are, after all!

After strolling the entire length of the house (with a Fred escort. A Fredscort!) Rocco, having found no stray food, flops down in the kitchen in hopes that food will appear. (When it didn’t, he went to the garage door and asked to be let out. Into the garage. Where there are two heated beds and now a bonus space heater. Because of course there is.)

Posted on social media (Facebook/Twitter/Instagram/Tumblr/ Bluesky) yesterday.
Richie’s all “Lady, tell her to stop hoggin’ the cube.”
It’s a Richie pie! (My favorite!)

I’m tossing toys for the fosters, and Richie and Carmy show off their catching skills. (And Tina shows off her running back and forth skills!)
“It was THIS BIG!” Tina’s telling us about the bird that got away.

Carmy’s slowing down, heading for nap time, and taking a little while to get some kneading done.

I am trying to remember what you said about the electric blankets because we have 2 dogs and 2 cats here and not quite enough pet bed heaters. But we do have a random electric blanket. Do you just leave them turned on low, or do you turn them off for part of the day? My pets thank you!
I turn it on when I make the bed in the morning, and it automatically turns off after (I think) 6 hours. Then I turn it on again in mid-afternoon and leave it until bedtime. The blanket does have a “keep on” setting, but I feel better knowing that it’ll automatically turn off after 6 hours just to be safe.
I love the triangular marking on Rocco’s nose. I seem to remember that one of your own cats from way back when had a similar triangle nose but the rest of him was mostly white? You may even have a picture of him on your wall?
Mister Boogers!!
Ok I know that question was actually directed to Robyn and I have no place answering, but I am responding just for fun, because it was actually funny to me that when I read this comment, I said eagerly out loud (to no one), “oh that’s gotta be Mister Boogers” — because immediately I had a clear image in my head of said cat… who I never met, but who I loved from afar.
Especially when in a bonnet 🙂
Mister Boogers actually didn’t have a triangle marking on his face (pretty sure Linda’s thinking of Tubby), but I do have the Grandma Boogers picture hanging on the wall! 🙂
I think you’re thinking of Tubby! I’ll post a picture of him in tomorrow’s entry – Rocco reminds me of Tubby frequently!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!!!
Thank you!
Remember when Richie didn’t care much for any of that ol’ Churu nonsense? Hahaha. Yeah I know those days are long gone, but seeing evidence of his complete 180 still cracks me up 🙂
I know, it cracks me up that he was so very NO THANK YOU when he was little, and now he’s first in line when it’s Churu time!
