Dropping Pink and Adele off at Petsmart last night went just fine. They were a little confused about this whole “cage” thing, but Pink curled up in the cat bed and Adele watched people walk by, and neither of them hid in the litter box.
Kathie dropped the BeeBees and their sister Twig off last night, too. They have grown to be GORGEOUS, but they were skeered, so I snuggled them a little and didn’t traumatize them by taking pictures.
None of the BeeBees were adopted, and neither were Pink or Adele, but Moses – an adult – was adopted, so that was good! I got to meet John, who adopted Shecky (now Gir) and Sue and Byron, from whom came Adele, the Swimmers, and the Classic Rockers from last year, and that was very cool.
Without Adele and Pink running around here all day (and part of the night), it is going to be QUIET.

They continue to love this thing – it’s the SmartCat Peek-A-Prize Toybox. Well, actually, it’s the smaller version, the Peek and Play Toybox, which is more expensive if you factor in shipping. Weird, right? They adore that thing, though – I’m forever having to track down toys to put in it, because they’re constantly emptying it.
Shelton and the Deep Thoughts (would be an excellent name for a band!)
Levine will have you know that he had JUST lifted that 25 pound weight and he’s sorry you missed it.
I managed to get a shot of all three of them – wonder if I’ll be able to get a shot like this when Pharrell joins the club?
Why go around the feet when you can climb right over?
That LOOK she’s giving Levine, like he knows better and he best back OFF, if he knows what’s good for him.
I love this picture, with Stefani in the foreground, wildly flailing with claws out and the boys in the back all, “Oh, dear. She’s never going to get that teaser. Bless her heart!”
One day, sweet girl. ONE DAY you’ll get that feather teaser, and the wild flailing will have all been worth it.

King Nubbs (aka Pharrell) has some thinkin’ to do.
Doesn’t look like he cared for those thoughts, does it?
We are moving ever closer to introducing the King to his loyal (hopefully) subjects. Another day or so, and we’ll start bringing him upstairs to visit. Poor boy – with only humans to keep him company, he is SO BORED. I think he’s going to like having other kittens to play with.

Video! Remember how last week – or whenever it was – I told y’all that I got the Petstages Purr Pillow because the description said Purring sound provides calm and comfort? Pink found calm and comfort in that she’d run over and bunny kick it every time I turned it on, and Adele just ignored it. I finally took it up to the foster room to see what the Coaches thought. I do not believe they were all that calmed or comforted, honestly.

Stinkerbelle doesn’t seem very pleased today, does she? Perhaps I wasn’t snappy enough with the snack this morning.

In the picture: “We have liftoff!” – oh my, the belleh and the back feetsies!!!
It also reminds me so much of Robyn’s great shot of baby Tommy, though with the quilt and shadows this one also has a kaleidoscopic feel.
Here’s hoping for some ideal adoptions later this week.
My thoughts exactly!
Oh, I love that picture of Tommy so much. I’ll have to share it in Friday’s post!
Best wishes that Adele and Pink find their new fur-ever home soon and I’m hoping they will also be adopted together. The “Coaches” are so adorable and love the ‘lift off’ photo! You get such great action shots:-) I had bought two of the ‘comfort purr pillows’ for my newly adopted kitties and they love them to cuddle with. Also bought the blue ‘kitten cuddle pillow’ that you can warm up in the microwave for 30 seconds. Great cuddle pillows and I toss them into their carriers when I bring them to the vet. It works like a charm for them to reduce any stress or anxiety when in the carrier.
I’ve been checking out that “cuddle pillow”, looking towards this summer when I might have bottle babies (and that cuddle pillow is certainly cuter than the socks I used with Badger, Skinny Pete, and Combo!) and might be able to use something like that.
I turned the purr pillow on for the kittens this afternoon, and they were neither interested nor freaked out by it. I’m going to have to try it again with future fosters! 🙂
I think your sock filled with rice was perfect for the little bottle babies. The roundness of it mimics mom’s tummy. I love the cuddle pillow because it’s flat (my kitties are 3 yrs-old) and the buckwheat filled part can be taken out so you can wash the pillow when needed. My kitties push the nose on the purr pillow to turn it on (or off):-) I lay the warming cuddle pillow across the purr pillow on the bed and they gravitate to it like a magnet and sleep cuddling both of them. Too cute! Best of all it that they go into their carriers without a fuss when I need to bring them to the vet:-)
That entire Stefani series is so sweet. The flying Stefani is the best.
I got my ‘In Memory’ calendar yesterday. It is wonderful and will be kept long after 2016 is gone. It made me cry and smile all at the same time. I loved seeing their faces again. I know it is odd since we never met, but I miss Mr. Boogers and was so happy to see his hetful face. Thanks for doing this calendar Robyn. I know it must have been hard to do but it is so wonderful.
It was hard to do, but I love having the calendar. Betty suggested that I do it, and I’m so glad she did, I never would have thought of it on my own!
those kittens are all “what the heck with the pillow lady?”
I like how in the photo of all three of them the two ‘black’ kittens are in the light and the ‘light’ kitten is in shadow.. just kinda neat is all.
the video.. oh that is just wrong.. wrong wrong wrong. I’m surprised no one broke out the paw o’doom on that thing.
I am sure Stefani catches the feathers in her dreams.
That is neat – I hadn’t noticed it! It’s.. symbolic and stuff. 😀
The picture with Stefani in the front standing and the other two in back talking about her has to get in the favorites. It cracked me up. Bless her heart! LOL!
Stinkerbelle’s photo also looks amazing. You do such great work Robyn. I hope the littles get scooped up soon and updates provided or if they don’t some awesome pics can be gotten. I miss them especially Badger.
A couple of the cleaners at Petsmart usually take pictures, hopefully they’ll get a chance to do so this week (unless the kittens are snapped up tomorrow during adoption hours!)
Oh my gosh, I love that video with Tubby and Mister Boogers. I love his little “nub” switching back and forth. So Cute!!
They were such characters!
Gah! Nope! Not calmed nor comforted. But at least they weren’t in floof suits.
I might have been kind of hoping for a floof suit or two. 😀
