Last call for 2023 calendars! The link is right here – and also in the sidebar. I’ll be removing the link from the sidebar after today, since tomorrow’s February 1st. (Though I’ll likely leave the calendars available at Zazzle ’til it’s time for the 2024 calendars, because why not?)

We had a brief moment of sunshine yesterday, and Brioche enjoyed it.

Cinnaspin inspects the calendar.
“Did you notice all these names in the little squares?” she asks Linzer. “But none of them are OUR names.”
“That’s weird,” says Linzer.
“How come OUR names aren’t on this calendar, lady? It’s all Newt and Archie and Alice and Jake.”
Well, girls, it’s because each day, a permanent resident gets a turn with their picture in the blog. If I don’t write down the schedule on the calendar, I get confused and someone will get skipped, and then people will surely notice and accuse me of playing favorites. I write the schedule on the calendar so I know whose turn it is, so that the permanent residents are evenly featured!
I didn’t swap the Cookie Girls and Brioche yesterday because they got their vaccinations Sunday evening, so were pretty quiet and just wanted to sleep the day away.

Jake on the heated bed in the front room, keeping an eye on those kittens.

Posted on social media (Facebook/Twitter/Instagram/Tumblr) yesterday.
Not the greatest picture, but this shot of (the neighbor’s cat) Rocco on the front porch, looking through the window at Linzer & Cinnaspin on the cat tree makes me laugh. Rocco likes kitten TV!
Volunteer Melissa sent me these pics Saturday evening – Francesca (left) and Nacho were just looking too darn cute, she had to grab pictures of them. ❤️
Sisters Francesca and Ignacia/Nacho are 6 months old and currently at Petsmart on University Drive here in Huntsville, Alabama. They are a bonded pair and must be adopted together. Email Forgotten Felines of Huntsville at info (at) ffhsv.org to inquire about meeting (or adopting) them. We are located in Huntsville, Alabama, and out of area adoptions are allowed, but adopters must come here to complete the adoption.

On Saturday, I let the Cookie Girls meet Brioche. Brioche was not thrilled by this development, and Cinnaspin and Linzer were not too sure about the whole experience either. (They stayed in the room for about 10 minutes before I shooed them out.)
Brioche came for a cuddle and accepted a belly rub on that adorable shaved belly.
(Brioche is available for adoption. She’s 18 months old, a sweet, personable charmer, and if you’re interested in meeting and/or adopting her, email Forgotten Felines of Huntsville at info (at) ffhsv.org to inquire. We are located in Huntsville, Alabama. Forgotten Felines of Huntsville does allow out of area adoptions, but adopters must come here to complete the adoption.)

Napping with Cinnaspin & Linzer. So relaxing! So restful! (So amusing!)
Auntie Alice was in the kitchen kicking up a fuss because she was SURE she heard that there was ham in here somewhere (there was no ham, but Alice is pretty sure that if she keeps coming to ask, one day there WILL be), and Cinnaspin and Linzer had to see what they were missing.
Good night innernets. (Linzer and Cinnaspin and those little shaved bellies are just TOO CUTE… and very, very soft.)

“the neighbor’s cat”? hahahaha!!!
My most heartfelt condolences. Archie was a beauty, handsome fellow. May you find peace that he passed quietly in one of his favorite places. I am crying for you, completely understanding the impact of losing one of your fur-children/companions. He will be missed popping up in photos and videos. Prayers for you all, two-leggers and four-leggers, as you adjust to this change in the house. – April-Dawn (Keep Up Creations)
The Cinnaspin-Linzer-Calendar pictures and captions are amazing! And so funny! (*clapping loudly*)
So sorry for your loss.
Robyn and Fred, I’m sorry for your loss of sweet Archie. So devastating to lose a furry family member. He had THE BEST human parents and so many four-legged temporary and permanent to share his love with. Saying a loving prayer for Mr. Archie and the wonderful life he lived!
I’m so very sorry to learn of Archie’s passing. He was such a sweet cat. I loved the way he kept your dish towels in line. May he rest in peace, and may you find some comfort in knowing you gave him the best life in the best home.
What a shock to find Archie gone like that this morning, so very sorry. A moment of silence…and now the dish towels have to stay put again. Love that picture of him drinking from the chicken water!
