Happy New Year, everyone!
Thank you VERY much to Kristen, who let me know that my picture of The Seven made it into the Cute Overload calendar! That’s what I get for opting for the Bad Cat page-a-day calendar this year, isn’t it? I’ll have to remedy that – who says you can’t have two page-a-day calendars, right?
The Bradys have all had their spaying and neutering, their rabies shots, and their id chips implanted. They need to go through another round of medicating for a few days, but hopefully after that they’ll be ready for the adoption center and it’ll just be a matter of waiting ’til there’s room available for them.
They are such sweet little kittens – every one of them is a serious love bug who wants to be petted and snuggled and kissed. If you pick up Cindy Brady, she flails around in an attempt to help you get her into position for maximum belly exposure. She looooooves to be cradled like a baby.
Cindy Brady is a little lady who loves to sit in my lap with her paws neatly crossed.
Likes belly rubs, chasing her tail, and great big smooches directly behind her ear.
Bobby Brady and Jan Brady, hangin’ out in the cube. (We saw this cube at Walmart and were so thrilled with the price ($3.99), that of course we threw it in the cart. As it turned out, we were looking at the wrong price, and it was actually $14.99. Still – not bad, right?)
Someone looks super guilty here, am I right?
Of COURSE they like to lay on top of the cube. They’re cats, after all.
(Those are Fred’s hairy legs, not mine.) Greg Brady makes himself at home.
I showed this picture to Fred so he could see how gorgeous Reacher is (as if he doesn’t already know), and Fred thought it was from when Reacher was a kitten. Nope – it was from the day before!
Here’s something for you to ponder ’til tomorrow, when you’ll get the whole sordid story:
Who’s THIS, and where’d she come from?!

P.S. Pretty little calli.
Happy New Year, all! Pretty little torbie!
What I love about that picture from CO is that the green plates have kitties on them. How’s that for detail!
Is that Peter looking gorgeous? He really is pretty.
Yes, that’s Peter – isn’t he beautiful?
Oh, and the plates? I bought them specifically for feeding the cats their snacks, of course. 🙂
Awww you have another gorgeous kitty?!?! Oh that’s brilliant!! Oh I do hope her story won’t be heartbreaking!!! She’s a sweetie!
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
The Bradys are looking most excellent!! I do hope that if and when they do go to be rehomed that they’ll find forever homes asap! They’re so irresistable!!
And OF COURSE those are Fred’s legs!!
And Rhyme and Reacher and Sugarbutt are adorable! take care
x
Hahaha! Those could be MOMMY’S legs!!!
Well, whoever that is sure is a pretty little bitty thing! Um, I may have missed that post, but what is that box thingy around Reacher’s (hellooooo gawgus!) neck?
That is a collar that goes to the underground fence around the back yard. If he gets too close to the fence, the collar makes a warning beep. If he keeps on going, he gets a short zap. He’s a bad boy and will climb over the fence if he’s not wearing a collar. He and Rhyme (along with Tommy and Sugarbutt) wear the collars during the day, when they’re allowed out into the back yard, and then we take them off in the evening when we shut the door.
Welcome back! We missed you!
Aw, Reacher and Rhyme! Every time I see the Bookworms my heart breaks a little cause I’m just a biiit in love with all of them. Since the last time I expressed my interest, I got the barn cat who’s an absolute doll, buuut she came with another boy kitty. I had someone who was interested in that kitty, but I don’t know if they’re a match, since he’s rather energetic and the guy is looking for a calmer cat. The girl kitty would definitely need company of another cat. She likes sneaking up to the boy kitty when he’s sleeping and groom him. So for now, I’m keeping both and they’re really quite lovable(even if the boy does howl complaints at me at 4am because he’s BORED!) and I’m pretty convinced that they’re the cutest cats in existence. Also, the boy kitty could give Corbie and Reacher a match in prettiness. The cats and dogs have reached a mutual pact based on ignoring one another, which is nice and what I expected. So, as much as I adore the Bookworms, 2 is my limit and unless the prettiest boy kitty does get adopted by that one guy, I’m gonna have to let go of the idea of adopting one of the Bookworms. I know I wasn’t the top choice in adopting one of them because of living in NC, but still wanted to update you.
Yileen, I understand completely – and thanks for updating me. 🙂
