Do you remember Sammy, Simon and Joey, the three cats whose owner died and they need a new home or homes? I wrote about them here.
Here’s an update – GREAT news!!!
Just wanted to give everyone an update to the email we sent out about Sammy and Joey yesterday.
We were blessed to find homes for ALL the cats!!! Sammy was adopted by a lovely woman and her husband; Joey is going to another family member…her father-in-law.
Hard to believe that in about 24 hours (give or take), three miracles came to fruition…thank you to everyone who posted on facebook and their blogs…to all of you who simply said a prayer. It all worked!!
Now we just need to keep the good thoughts and prayers coming…that these boys will settle into their new homes and new lives and blossom into the wonderful cats we know they can be.
Thank you so much, everyone. You’re absolutely the best!
Alabama/ Tennessee residents, read this and pass it along!!! (This is taken from the Challenger’s House update email from a few weeks ago. I’ve been meaning to post about it, but I’m a total space cadet sometimes. I’m sure that shocks you!)
It’s been a while coming but the North Alabama Spay/Neuter Assistance Association is ready to help. The Spay/Neuter Clinic, located at 3303 North Memorial Parkway (just south of Mastin Lake Road & across from Gander Mountain) in Huntsville will be open on July 19, 2010.
The clinic is open to everyone & there is no qualifying necessary to take advantage of the excellent quality, low cost surgeries. Cat neuters are $35, cat spays are $45, dog neuters are $55, & dog spays are $65. Proof of current rabies is required but if the animal needs a rabies vaccination, that will only be an additional $10. This is not a full service clinic – all it is designed to do is spay & neuter. No other vaccinations or tests are required. For appointments, call 256-489-0418. Tell your friends. Tell your neighbors. Tell everyone!
The North Alabama Spay/ Neuter Clinic website is here.
Everybody loves Martin.
(Or loves to taunt him, anyway!)
“Come on, punk. Come here and do your best. You know I’ll wipe the floor with you.”
“Whatsamatter, little man? You scared of the GIRL?”
“Whatcha doin’ with that paw, you little BABY?”
“That’s right, ya little wimp. Run off and cry to MOMMY.”
A mancat can only take so much, y’know.
