“Really? You’re sure you want to try touching the belly again? Are you unaware that I have razor-sharp claws and I KNOW HOW TO USE THEM?”
I had no idea when I bought this carrier that it was going to be such a huge amount of fun for the babies. Best toy EVER, apparently!
“That’s right, I done it, copper. I done it, and I’d do it again. I was loopy on catnip, no judge in the world is going to convict me. They’ll send me to rehab, I’ll come out clean and UNREPENTANT. So get out those cuffs and slap ’em on, I AIN’T SCARED.”
“I wants to climb Mt. Carrier, but I needs a nap first…”
“::fume:: They think I don’t KNOW there’s a pea under there. They think I don’t KNOW they don’t believe that I am of royal descent. When I am back in my castle, I will order all their deaths, and I will laugh and laugh and laaaaaaaaugh. Testing the patience of King Spanky. PEASANTS.”

LOL! Awww King Spanky, why so grumpy??? And Maura – you must forgive the touching – hoomans are as curious as cats!
As for the cute little Bookworm family – a great big AWWWWWWWWWWWW!!! You are just too, too precious and lovely!
π
Take care

Ha ha ha SNORT hee hee hee kitten handcuffs!!!! Ha!!!!
those Bookworms get cuter every time you post!!
I know you’re enjoying them enough for all of us.
Maura…just be glad that I am not there…as I would be KISSING the belly… π
Love the Bookworms! The “What’s going on over THERE” photo slays be. It is a photo bomb in the making!! π
You’re so funny, Miz Robyn! I always look forward to your posts!
Those are great, funny pictures! I understand the appeal of that carrier – it is like our laundry baskets, which are ridiculously popular with the cats.
Topher (your Mike) also adores playing with our bright red collapsible carrier. He likes it best when we put the opening on the floor and he zooms around pushing it on his head trying to get in. And then Dorian (Gus) pounces on the carrier.
Amy: Laundry baskets! I need to drag a laundry basket into the guest bedroom, I bet they’d love to climb in and out of one. π
AaronH: I can just see that happening, and it’s making me laugh and laugh. I guess the Bookworms resemble their half brothers more than a little, at least attitude-wise! π
Okay, I don’t know which kitty it is who’s asking for the handcuffs, but I do know that I’m totally in love with him…
:thunk: Kitten handcuffs, what’s going on… it’s just all too much cuteness!
Poor grumpy King Spanky. Those peas, not to mention peasants, are troublesome.
Spanky is adorable on that pile of pillows. Where else would a cat sit?!
And those Bookworms… *faint*
I was reading archives of your site before I went to bed and dreamt that Maura had her babies. She had 6 of them and you named them the Kitchens and named them Cornbread, Spatula, Noodles, Tongs and I can’t remember the other names hahahahaha π
The Bookworms are some of the most perfectly adorable kittens I’ve ever seen!
What? Maura hasn’t asploded with kittehs yet??
The Spanky bit made me LOL.
if you have any pictures of cats or kittens wearing handcuffs, please send them to me!!!!!1
